I toured both assisted living and memory care at Rain Forest Landings. The community areas in the assisted living part were attractive and nice. We enjoyed the dining room and the fireplace they had going, and the food was pretty good. The lady who gave us the tour was very nice and informative. We like the rooms, especially the community areas, the lobby, and different places to either relax with other people or engage in activities, but also just to walk around and have a seat and relax. We mostly looked at empty rooms. They seemed nice enough. They had a respite room that we could look at that was furnished and it looked like it would be one of our choices to try, a respite stay first before we committed to moving in permanently. The food was pretty good. I enjoyed it and I think my wife did, too. It was enjoyable. It didn't taste off or unpleasant in any way. It was better than average. The memory care was segregated largely from the assisted living. It was much more limited in the amenities and the overall ambiance. It's very attractive in the assisted living part. Te memory care part, was a little more utilitarian. I understand there are fewer people there apparently, so they have more limited amenities and spaces. You don't have a huge, cheerful dining room with a roaring fireplace. Those kinds of things are lacking, which I understand.

I visited. The facilities and the memory care units seemed nice. It was very clean and didn't have an odor. The dining area looked fine and nice. It was close to a hospital and mall.

It was very good. I liked the fact that they had some rooms with a terrace. They had little areas to sit outside that mom could go into. It was very nice; it was one of my choices if they could help me take care of mom’s care.
