They have everything, and you can opt in or out of whatever you need. They have house cleaning. They have three meals and have a care nurse. I have tried the food; it's really good. They do football game stuff, and they take them to town. They have different board games and bingo. They have different stuff to do."

"My mom moved into South High Senior Living. I can't think of anything that I don't like. It's been nice. It's a nice place. My mom's apartment is spacious. She has a large bathroom. It's up-to-date and clean. The food is fine. They had a dining room, a kitchen, and a great room that's got a huge-screen TV. It's decorated pretty. From the dining room, it goes outside to a patio that's got tables and umbrellas. And then they've got little things that they can grow. I love their staff. Their staff is nice. They've got some good people working there. The facility is pretty new. My mom's room was expensive, but it was a room for herself. And then she moved into a shared room. She and her roommate get along well together."

"Renaissance Terrace is a small facility with only 15 rooms, and it’s only 5 or 6 years old. My sister is in there. It’s a really nice facility, they have good food, and it is well-staffed. Some of the staff have been there since they started 6 years ago. They go to movies, they have all kinds of activities like bingo, they go to the mall, and they take them out. I am really pleased with the facility. "

"My mother is in NHC Fort Sanders. She's been there for a while, but she'll be transitioning to long-term care. What I like best is it's close to Fort Sanders Hospital, and I like the level of care that they provide. I'm there most days to visit and while I'm there, I see how they care for the patients. I'm very impressed with their therapy and their equipment. They have several workout rooms there at the facility for the people. They have a full line of care there. The second and third floor is for the long term. They have a lot of opportunities there for different levels needed for different patients, though sometimes, they can't get to everyone at the same time to clean. They have an outdoor facility. They have activities like a center for the patients."

"My sister lived in Heritage Assisted Living for a while. It was a nice facility, and it was clean. Both my sister and I are very satisfied there. If they have all the levels of care, we would definitely go back there because we liked it very much. We liked the person who was in charge of several Heritages facilities. The food was fine. It was very attractive outside. I don't even expect to find a nicer place outside for anyone who likes to be outside in the evening or while it's raining. It's covered; so unless there's a lot of wind, they could sit there outside. Some places don't allow any smoking on their property. If you were outside at Heritage, that was the area you could smoke in. It was just very pleasant to be out there and visit with one another. I think we like everything about it. It was a little understaffed. As far as the people working there, they were all very good and very caring. They don't have a calendar of activities because my sister moved right before COVID. The person who was manager at that specific site went to another job, and they haven't really replaced her yet. Before COVID, they would have someone come every so many weeks and cut people's hair. Of course, with COVID that stopped. Then when the COVID numbers went down a bit and everybody there got vaccinated, they were able to have somebody come occasionally again and cut hair. The outdoor space was ideal with tables and chairs and a roof that extended far enough so you can be out there when it rained. When you looked in the foreground, there was lots of flowers and bushes that were just blooming like crazy right now. Then behind that was a whole hill of nothing, but trees. They have a dining area and a lobby area with a large television where they could go. For the money, I think that it was a lovely place to be."

"Everything at Wellington Manor Assisted Living was amazing. They were very helpful. The rooms were really nice. It was very clean. It was a really nice place. In fact, they were trying their best to work with my budget. It's one of the nicest places I've seen, and I thought there was no way my mom could afford it because it was really impressive. You can tell that all the staff members were very kind and affectionate towards their residents. It had a really good feel. That's where I really wanted, but it was an hour away. The dining area was really nice. Everything there was really nice. It's carpeted and clean. It's kind of fancy-looking. They were really willing to work with my budget. I appreciate what they were trying to do. They came down a lot for me because they're privately owned. I would recommend them to anybody, especially people on the lower bracket, like four and up. It's somewhat doable. The library was pretty big. They had a big TV in there. The residents were there watching some sort of daily devotional video or something. They had a couch in there, and they had books around. It's really fancy compared to everything else."

"We found The Courtyards Senior Living (The Orchard) for my mother-in-law. The place was about a year old. It was really nice. It had everything that she needed, and it was only about five minutes from here. We liked the look of the place. They seemed to be well staffed. It had a kitchen where she could order breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It was a nice, higher end place for a good price. It covered everything like food, laundry, and bath. They had a doctor on call who was familiar with older patients and made sure they would be taken care of. They had entertainment and movies. They had church on Sundays if you wanted to go. They had bingo and stuff that older people liked to do. It had everything. "

"We chose The Courtyards Senior Living-The Meadows. I like the way that everything was kind of in the center and the rooms were around. It seemed more like a home setting. My friend's room would be sort of right off from where the kitchen was. They cook the meals. The activity center was right off to the side. It seemed everything was really easy to get to. It was a smaller one. I think they would hold 25 people, and there were 18 there at the time. The room looked good. The shower was big. The price was $4500 a month. However, they don't have that service where they take them to their appointments. The people were friendly. It's not a big house. It's more of a smaller community. The room seemed good for what my friend could afford. They had some rooms that they shared, and then they had a bigger room, which I liked, but it was more expensive. It was $4900. It was more like a big living room, and you could get a bed and a sofa in it. You had more room to move around in, but still, it was $4900. The staff who gave the tour was super nice and informative. She answered questions. She has called back a couple of times, and they're working with us to see if we can get my friend in and then they worked out the payment. They seemed accommodating. They have a salon, they do activities, and they take them on an outing twice a month, maybe shopping or a field trip type thing. They don't have a church bus, but there is a church that comes and gets the people there and takes them to church. It was a church that my friend used to be a member of. "

"My mother was at Continuum Courtyards for three weeks, and they were very good to her. The reason I put her there is because I broke my leg, and I had to have surgery. I talked to the people there and checked on her, and she really liked it. My mother has to have complete care. She has dementia, and she can't dress herself, so they had to do everything for her. They had activities, and I saw people sitting around tables and doing different things at each table making Christmas cards and playing some kind of game. The dining area was clean, and the lady that did the cooking was really nice. The apartments were set up for people to come and bring their own stuff. "
