I can't say enough good things about autumn care. The staff go above and beyond to take care of the residents. The food is absolutely fantastic, pretty much restaurant quality. Along with the top-notch food, the facility is beautiful and clean. We're very happy with our choice and Raeleen, the new director, is always available and seems to really know her stuff. If you're looking for a place that will make your loved ones feel safe and well cared for, I don't think you can do much better.

Autumn Care was pleasant enough, but we didn't interview the staff, except for the lady giving us the tour. The building seemed fine. We didn't have any problems with it. It was quite clean. The atmosphere was pleasant. We didn't have any negative feelings about it. The tour guide was pleasant. The rooms were fine. They seemed pretty reasonable in size and adequate. One thing that caught my eye was the memory care people in the lobby area. They didn't seem to be doing much of anything. I understand that nothing could necessarily be done about keeping them continually engaged in things, but it just was an impression I had at the time, that they weren't actively engaged in anything. They were just sitting there. I may have been in there at a time when everybody was relaxing.

My mom has been at Autumn Care since before COVID. They are family owned, which is great, but there were some struggles during the pandemic with staffing. The owners seem like lovely people and in the past year they have really turned it around with more reliable and compassionate caregivers, nurses, and management. The building is beautiful, the food is better than most places, and it doesn't have that corporate feel like a lot of the bigger places do. Overall we are really happy and feel that mom is in good hands.

I toured Autumn Care. They were very nice when we walked in, but the person who was giving us the information, I could tell from the beginning, did not want my mother there. It wasn't great, I didn't think that person was very friendly. She did not want to take my mom just because she had some wandering issues. She didn't have to have a memory care but because in her chart, she was found wandering on a road because she was trying to find a social worker. Those people did not want to take her just because of that. It seemed like it was a nice place, and it seemed like they were playing bingo and stuff, so that kind of thing was good. It looked pretty clean, it was secure, and the rooms were spacious.

I'm at Autumn Care; I've already got a place. I've been here for one week now. It's very clean. The staff members are very friendly and very knowledgeable about their jobs. Their food is awesome. They have, exercise with the bands as a group, they have dancing to the music to get them moving around, they have bingo, and they have karaoke. There's constantly something going on. Their prices are very fair. There's a patio with tables and a fire pit, and they do barbecues in that out there. They have a van like they got a color tour. They do different things like that besides everything else going on.

Autumn Care in Farragut is beautiful and the food is better than average. However, it has taken me almost a year to write this review because....My mother lived here for approx 7 months. Her room was very nice and she seemed to get along with everyone. It was great for her to have people to interact with until COVID dashed the social part. It took them several months to figure out how to keep the residents safe and socially connected. It took a lot of urging to get FaceTime calls setup. There was no proactive communication. I had to pull information on Mom, on activities, on how they were responding to covid, etc. I interacted by phone most of the time with the staff. Though everyone was friendly there was a significant lack of organization in what they do and don't do. NO PROACTIVE communication-NONE. Then when Mom died in July, there was not one person in management that had any words of sympathy, no card to the family, nothing. It seemed cold and not how you would want your loved ones caregivers to be in any situation. So 5 stars for looks, but 1 star for interactions and true caring.

Absolutely beautiful facility with so much potential. Sadly, however, ownership is wildly unaware of numerous and frequent operational mishaps, from chronic understaffing to consistant billing errors. There is a complete and total lack of effective communication and organization, making this senior living community a recipe for disaster and neglect. Don't be deceived by cosmetics.

My grandmother has been living here since 2013. There have been some issues in the past like her things going missing, but recently this place has gone downhill rapidly. They have decided to open a memory care wing here and called to say they were moving my grandmother the next day. We were not given a choice. She was moved to a smaller room where her belongings did not fit. They did not try to set up the room in the same way it was before, just pretty much threw everything in there. Then they moved her room again 2 days later. She is now confined to an upstairs common area with three other women, two who are nonverbal. My grandmother is still verbal and loves to socialize. She did not get a bath for six days. She was wearing the same outfit two days in a row. She is having panic attacks because they stole her room and gave it away to someone else. Her doctor has stopped prescribing her blood thinner because the staff does not give her her medication consistently. All of this has happened in the last week and a half. We will be getting her out of here in a few days, thank God. For a person with dementia or Alzheimer's, routine and familiarity is very important. They took everything familiar to her to move her to this "memory care" wing, where she is confined to one room. She has never wandered or tried to escape the facility. She is doing less now than she was doing before, and they raised the price 40%!!! Horribly run with almost no staff. No one ever answers the phone or calls you back. RUN, RUN, RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

My mother is moving to Autumn Care Assisted Living. The staff seems very friendly, and they have a lot of what the other facilities have as far as trying to keep them busy. They seem to be relatively nice rooms with windows and carpet, but the hallways are wood, so it’s going to be easier for her to get around. It looked very clean and there wasn't any odor to it.

Newer facility in west Knoxville. Very nicely decorated with great rooms. Clean facility. Could be a great place. Unfortunately is chronically understaffed and new staff under trained. Most staff try very hard to be helpful but the best ones seem to burn out and leave

We found one Autumn Care that is down the street from us that she is very happy with. It’s a very small facility; I think they have about 42 residents or so. It’s very clean new and very reasonable. We have been really pleased with it. They have a regular activity time. They have three meals a day, and they have nurses and physical therapy.
