We visited my dad when he was in PruittHealth in Blythewood. It was pretty much horrible. They kept him in bed the whole time. He never had any kind of exercise. He had a feeding tube placed in. When he got home, he was severely malnourished. We had to spend the first month that he was out of rehab trying to get home rehab because they didn't do rehab when he was there. They weren't accepting visitors. The only time we got to go in was a couple of days before he got released. We went and see him through the window. The staff was nice enough, but anybody can be nice. They didn't feed him. They gave him pureed food. I don't know if the food just didn't have enough nutrients or if they weren't just feeding him enough because when he got home, he was like 98 pounds. In our opinion, they did not do what they were supposed to do. The only time they got him out of the bed was to pick him up and sit him in the chair. He never tried to walk and now we're having to face that because now his muscles are so weak that he can't walk. The people that we spoke with were good. Our caseworker was good. She pretty much answered all the questions we had. It was just the level of care that we weren't too happy with. The outside of the building was nice, but we had only seen the inside once. It was clean.
