H an m was a good place, staff for nice to me. I was treated good there last summer. Except some of meds VA prescribed like tegretal I didn’t like. But residents were nice. It was home for the time I was there.

There are only 18 people at H&M Personal Care Home and they're all high-functioning, but it's 24-hour supervision. It’s a very loving environment. They're in the process of remodeling because the house is a little bit rundown, but they're in the active steps to update the kitchen and bedrooms. They're also planning to put a gazebo outside for the residents. Some rooms are private, but my dad is in a shared room on the main floor because he has a touch of dementia. They take good care of him and he's always clean. If I call ahead to take him somewhere, they always have him ready. They plan parties and are planning to go to the zoo this summer. I also know they have mass twice a week for them, and they cook three square meals and give the residents snacks. My dad always brags about the food the cooking that they do. The food always smells good, and they're homemade and fresh. They have a community room where they congregate, talk and watch TV.
