Irvington Village only has 104 units and only a few with a bedroom; most of them are studios. There's a long waiting list to get in one of those. The rooms themselves were terribly small, but maybe OK for one person. Those were the limitations; it wasn't well equipped to have very many couples. The staff members were very good, very kind, and helpful. The nice thing about this place is that they have a clinic right there inside the building with medical doctors and rehab. They have physical therapy, too. The person who helped us was very helpful. They had a nice library and a sitting area. Outside, they had a little courtyard area. I saw members of the community enjoying that place, so that was nice. They provide three meals a day and don't have facilities to do your own cooking, which I prefer. Nevertheless, there was a small counter with a coffee maker and a microwave. The staff members were friendly. The place itself was nice.
