I'm finding my move to Lyndale Edmond very nice. The staff are so helpful and so polite, they're just amazing. They're very receptive and helpful. The rooms are amazing, there's nothing here that I probably could add to this to make it any better. It has its own kitchen and has plenty of cupboards and storage. They provide the meals here, so the dining area is excellent and the food is very good. The staff, the waitresses, the cooks, they're all so friendly. In terms of the food, they have a lot of choices. They'll always offer the main course for lunch and dinner, and an alternative. If you don't care for that, you can always order a sandwich or hamburger. There are about five or six different things at the bottom of the menu that you can order if you don't care for anything that's being offered. One thing about the dining area, I wish that like for the salad dressings and stuff, they had a low-calorie choice. They have little packets of blue cheese and it's just straight dressing, there are no light choices or lo calories. The grounds are like living in a park. There's a lake, they've planted flowers around and it's gorgeous, geese and ducks walking around. There's also a walking trail around the lake, and there's fishing if you want to fish in the pond. There are so many activities, although I haven't participated. They play games and watch movies and do all kinds of stuff. I think the value of the money is very good.

Lyndale Edmond had ten cottages that were separate from the two main buildings, and I really loved it. You don't live in the building where everybody else is. I'm afraid that as far as socializing, we would miss out on some of that. They had all the same amenities as the other place, but I did not like the fact that so many of them were an extra charge, whereas at the other place everything was inclusive. There was a two-bedroom, two-bathroom. If you want to, they can handle your meds. The laundry is separate. You do your own, which is fine with me. Once a week they come in and change your sheets and do light housekeeping. Everybody was very friendly there. The staff was friendly, and she gave us all the information we wanted, and spent as much time with us as we wanted to spend with her.

I toured Lyndale Edmond. The facility seemed like it was brighter and larger. When I asked the questions about response time for the patients and everything, the lady I talked to didn't really have an answer for it. I was kind of talking about the industry standard or what is usual to get to somebody or something. She really can come back and give me an answer on how long it will take.

Lyndale Edmond has a nice setting. It's a very nice-looking facility. Their pool is separate from the building. They have cottages as well as a building encompassing several apartments. It's more like a hotel. The apartments were nice. The staff was nice. It was clean, but to me, it seemed a little darker. They didn't have enough windows. You felt like you were walking into a big motel, so I wasn't as impressed with it because there wasn't much outside light coming into the building. The apartments were clean. I like the location and the outside area well as far as walking around the complex is concerned, because it is on the lake.

The things that my mother didn't like about Lyndale Edmond was, that it was very, very large and there were elevators (she was trying to get away from that) and there was no laundry in the rooms. The rooms were very small, but the people were very friendly and accommodating. The facility needed a lot of updating. The dining area was nice. The room layouts were fair.

I had an in-person tour of Lyndale Edmond. The rooms are smaller than I expected. They charge you for many. They said they're in the process of renovating some of the places and cleaning them up, but they weren't exactly clean. The layout was OK. They don't have big hallways. They have little refrigerators. It wasn't big enough for the price. The staff was pretty nice. They told me they have three meals a day. They showed me a little patio area where they could go.

I fell in love with Lyndale Edmond. They had a two-bedroom-two-bath cottage, and it was perfect for what we were looking for. My friends and I are planning on coming back to Lyndale Edmond and scheduling another visit because I think that's what we want to live. There's a beautiful lake in front of the independent living, and so when I look out my front door there's a beautiful view of a lake, and so I loved that. The cottage was well-kept, clean, and very large, and it had all the amenities that we needed. It had a full kitchen. And it was exactly in the price range that we wanted. They were very helpful because they had never run across someone who wanted to move in three people (meaning a couple and a caregiver), and so they're working with us to try to find out how much it would be extra for a third person. They have been very accommodating. I enjoyed the tour that I took. I also toured the inside of the living areas. They have balconies, which is something that I want if I couldn't afford a cottage. They have a swimming pool and a clubhouse that you could use any time. They have a private dining area so that you and your family can go and have private dining if you want to. They have a barber shop and a beauty shop where you can get your nails done. They also have a game room and a pool table. They have ping-pong tables outside in the common areas. I love this place, that's where I want to live.

I had an in-person tour of Lyndale Edmond. It was a very clean atmosphere. I went around lunchtime, and there were lots of people there having lunch. It looked good and smelled great. The tour guide was very professional. She was there to answer any questions that I had. She took me on tour through several of the studios and the one-bedroom, which was what I was interested in. They were very nice. She gave me all the information and said she was available again for any questions that I might come up with and any assistance that I might need, so I was impressed. I think it would be a good facility to move a person into. There was a library, a swimming pool, a game room where people could play bridge and pool, church services that they have on several days during the week, and exercise. There's a hair salon on premise.

Lyndale Edmond seemed like a very nice place. It felt a little bit like a hotel, but that was at least my initial impression when I first walked in. The upkeep was pretty decent. I toured two different room layouts. I noticed that at least the two studio rooms that I looked at seemed like there was significantly less devotion to keeping those rooms. Just little things I noticed like as far as the molding on the wall. Overall, the fit and finish of the room just seemed to be significantly lower in the studio than it did in the one bedroom. Cody was nice and answered all my questions for me and everything. They were super nice people there. The dining area looked very nice, too. It was like they put a lot of effort into it where everybody would sit out and everything. Looks like they have a full list of activities every single day. They had some things there that I think would be interesting. They have a happy hour or night and stuff like that, but some other things seemed too childish. They have like a pool noodle toss or something like that, which I don't exactly know what it entails or how they go about doing it. That was at least my impression of that.

I've sent a deposit to Lyndale Edmond. They had individual housing instead of apartments, and that was a plus for me. It was clean. Even though it was right in the middle of Edmond, Oklahoma, it seemed like it was in a small, quaint town. The cottages were very spacious. I was impressed with the room in the cottages. I worked with Amber, and she was a very pleasant woman to work with. She was wonderful.

Lyndale Edmond was the best one among all the places I toured. It was a good place. They had an outdoor pool, and the food was wonderful. The rooms have appliances like a microwave, an oven, and a refrigerator. They had everything in there. They were nice and polite, and they told me everything I wanted to know.

Lyndale Edmond was nice. I especially liked the particular two places the staff showed me. One was a two-bedroom in the building. The other was a cottage outside, which was still on the property; however, it was not connected to the main building. They were nice and roomy. The amenities were nice. I was with the marketing director, and she was very nice and very personable. They had a little lake, which was very nice. Pretty much all the different parts of the community circle around the lake. If you want, you can eat in the dining room with the view of the lake. It was like a private dining room, but it's still connected to the dining room. You can sit over there, and you can sit outside. They had benches all around the lake, which you can sit on.

Lyndale Edmond was a beautiful setting. It felt like you were out in the country, not in town (which would be important to me). It had beautiful grounds and it was nice. The lady took plenty of time with me and answered all my questions. The facility and the rooms were nice and very clean. The floor plan was nice, too. It was pretty and well decorated. The common areas were large and well maintained. What was most impressive about the place was it had an outstanding pool facility in a large guest house setting. The only drawback was it's rather a little bit far from the main building, but it's an outside pool, so it really wouldn't matter to us.

We went to Lyndale Edmond. We like it. We like the location. The staff was nice. They had a lot of things that we like for amenities. They serve you a meal every day and they offer housekeeping, and that's the two most important things we're looking for. The apartments were all good. We looked at some rooms and two of them we are interested in. The size was nice.

Lyndale Edmond was a very lovely facility. They had a beautiful dining hall that looks out onto a beautiful lake. Their rooms were nicely sized. The staff we met was very nice and very friendly, and they knew their residents by name. We saw the schedule for activities. They had a nice list of activities for the residents to take part in. We didn't personally see any activities going on. We also went on a rainy day, so there weren't a lot of people out. Amber was very helpful and very attentive. I just didn't like the bathroom. They were small and the shower had a small step into it, but for someone who has a hard time stepping up, it's a large step into the shower.

The Lyndale Edmond has great people and is a great facility. I would put my mother there if she was ready to go. The room was very nice and very nicely laid out. They have a beauty salon, a workout room, nice sitting areas, family areas, a cafeteria area, and laundry. It's all very nice. They have a lot of community activities. The people there were very, very nice, very informative and very helpful. The building was nice, updated, and very pleasant. I toured both the independent and assisted living.

We visited Lyndale Edmond. The lady that helped us was just a delight, she was just a sweetheart. We loved the area, there's a little pond there and the openness and all of that was just beautiful. The assisted living part was very nice, but the rooms were very small and my mom is just not to that point yet. We felt like the assisted part was more of nursing instead of assisted, but then the independent was very fun. It looked nice. But it was going to be a big elevator ride, and we chose the other place because there's not as much walking. But Lyndale was wonderful and any other family would just really enjoy it. The staff that toured us around was very professional and very knowledgeable. She answered any of our questions and even offered that if we did not go with them, to feel free to call her for any kind of help. In the assisted living rooms, there was a microwave and a small refrigerator. In the independent living, the room had a full kitchen and it was like an apartment.

I wasn't all that impressed with Lyndale Edmond, it seemed a bit dated. The apartments were small. They had small refrigerators, they didn't have cooktops. They did have an exercise room and a library. They had a front sitting room. The overall price of the apartments was not bad. It's just a one-time residency. I think it was like two thousand dollars. So that was too much.

My experience touring Lyndale Edmond was excellent. I enjoyed the lady who came in and walked us through. She explained everything to me, and I got to talk to the head person there (who explained things to me). I also talked to the head nurses about everything else that's going on.

I moved into Lyndale Edmond Independent Living about two weeks ago. The food here is very good. The cooks are good. The people that work and live here are all very, very friendly. There's plenty of activities every month. We do macramé, balloon tennis, and tours to the zoo, or got to Walmart. There's something planned every day, both major and minor ones. My room is what sold me out on it. I'm getting a puppy in a couple weeks. I've got my room on the ground floor that goes out into a little fenced yard that the puppy can go in and out of. Also if you call and tell them you've got a problem, they have maintenance come in a couple of hours usually. It's a clean and well maintained place.

Lyndale Edmond was a very nice facility. The rooms were a little bit smaller, but the staff was very accommodating. The shared living areas were rather large and very well-appointed. They had some very nice outside grounds and gardens that the residents could go to. If you were in a wheelchair, you could get there easily. The storage spaces were quite a bit smaller. The kitchen areas were smaller too. They had a nice dining room and, if I recall correctly, there were three different living areas. One was set up with sort of game tables, there was a living room with a large TV and several seating locations. The staff that I encountered and worked with when I was there were very pleasant and very accommodating.

My father has moved into Lyndale Edmond assisted living facility. It's clean, and they're doing a good job. He did independent there at first and then he needed more assistance. The staff is good. He has a little studio apartment with a bathroom, and he has his bed and recliner in. His apartment was bigger in independent living, which was a 1-bedroom. They have a library, and they do exercises in the morning and afternoon.

Lyndale Edmond was nice, but not as nice as the others, and the cost was about the same. The staff was very friendly. They have a shuttle that takes people out, and they have an activity room. I looked at both independent living and assisted living, but all they had available was an efficiency apartment at the time, and that wouldn't be appropriate for my brother because he needed more space than that.

Lyndale Edmond looked very nice and seemed newer than other places. Everything was kept up very well and there was no smell. We saw a nice one-bedroom apartment. The dining area and the laundry area were very nice. The staff seemed professional and caring, and the residents seemed fine.

Lyndale Edmond was a fantastic community. The place was very peaceful. It looked great and well organized. I was very impressed. They had an incredible lobby and a lunchroom area that was accessible and comfortable. The rooms that I saw were studio-sized apartments; there was enough space for one person. They were definitely clean and well maintained. I was highly impressed with the staff. They were gathered together for a staff meeting, so I thought that was very significant that they were working together collectively and that the management was engaging them on a consistent basis. The director of nursing was extremely diligent and very passionate about what she was doing. They have a separate memory care area that we might need one day, so that was definitely a benefit.

Lyndale has new ownership which plans to improve interior and exterior app;earance. Staff very friendly, but I have read complaints about their being understaffed. And some staff resigned with the change in ownership. New owners have just put in another retirement center which is upscale and I think their improvements will make a difference in Lyndale.. Food o.k., but not anything special. Apartments were smaller than those in some other retirement homes I visited. But some have balconies of a patio. One big plus - they furnish three full meals every day, whereas some other places have just one meal or a continental breakfast and other meals. Meals included with price of apartment. Average resident seemed to be around 86 and clannish. Those I tried to talk to were not very communicative. There are two large buildings - one for independent living and the other for assisted living, and also they have cottages. All this is situated on a large private area on a small lake and in the center of Edmond, so the location if outstanding. And they furnish transportation to doctors and other places.

Lyndale Edmond wasn’t really my favorite. I didn’t feel connected with the people giving the tour. I was told later that the person who was doing it was new. This lady didn’t know anybody. She was pleasant, but I didn’t feel like she was very knowledgeable about the facility. I also didn’t like that it was three floors and there were only two very small elevators. I was a little concerned about that in an emergency situation. It had a huge dining area and plenty of activities. They had buses that took the senior people to different places. The facility looked great. The outside was nice. It’s in a great neighborhood but there was something about it that was a little bit too industrial, and I feel like the place was too big for what I would want my mom in.

Copper Lake was fine. It just needed to be remodeled a little bit. They showed me what they call a two-bedroom apartment, but it was like 2 studios where they had taken out the wall. It was more money than what we’re paying where my parents are at right now. It just needed to be updated. Everybody was really nice, and they seemed happy. I just felt like this wasn’t the right place for my parents. I just really walked around and saw people walking around and saying, “Hi.” The dining area looked very nice. The staff was very nice, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. I think they were going to be updated because she told me that they were being bought by a different company that was building a new place -- which I might have been interested in -- but they were not going to be ready in time for my parents.

Copper Lake Estates was very nice and clean, but they didn’t really have facilities for a wheelchair and my husband uses a wheelchair. It had much smaller apartments than what I was looking for. We ate there, and the food was good. The place was going through some renovations since it’s an older place, but for the money, it seemed like a really good buy. The staff seemed very congenial and cooperative. We were really pleased. I don't have any complaints. When we went there, they had an Academy Awards party. They also had bingo. It would be nice if it could be wheelchair friendly.

Copper Lake Estates was too much money. My mom couldn’t afford it. The facility was OK. They were remodeling, so it was kind of torn up. They were having the walls painted and new carpeting put in. There weren’t any rooms available. I just saw pictures. The grounds were really nice. I think it cost $1,800 or $1,600 a month. My mom only makes $1800, so she couldn’t live there and still pay for her Medicare and supplemental insurance. There is nothing wrong with my mom. She is still able to drive, so she doesn't qualify for VA. The lady who gave me the tour was very nice and helpful. She was the one that recommended seeing if we could get the help through the VA, but we weren’t able to do that because you have to have two things wrong with you to get any kind of assistance. Copper Lake Estates was a nice place, but my mom couldn’t afford it.

Copper Lake Estates was very nice. The staff was friendly. The meal was excellent. The rooms were clean. Everything was clean. The grounds were so nice. They got a large pond on the grounds. It’s location is inside Edmond city limit and that’s good. It’s closer to my son’s house. The dining area was undergoing construction so it was a little messy and a little crowded when I went. The food were very good and there were plenty of variety. The menu itself looks very good, like it has all your daily requirements on it.

We have had a very good experience at Cooper Lake Estates. They are the only facility with a bath tub, which is important for my mom. They also have a villa where my parents live with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, so it's almost like a home. It is not located in their main assisted living quarters; it is on the property but more like a home setting as opposed to just a single room. They have been very pleased with the food.

My visit with Copper Lake Estates was very favorable. They showed off different types of rooms, and they had independent and assisted living. They also had some houses in another section. If you still want to be in a smaller home, you could live there. They showed their dining facilities and exercise facilities and they had an outdoor pool in the summertime available on-site. They had a lake that they keep stocked with fish. They had really pretty grounds. They showed the whole area and talked about the different activities. They had shuttle service to grocery stores and doctors and outings. My father will move in there in November.

In spite of an appointment made a week ahead of time, Laura was unprepared for our visit. After waiting 10 or 15 min. she sat down with us at a conference table and told us about the place but did not give us a tour, then showed us 2 claustrophobic sized studio apts. We had asked ahead about eating with them. Laura was surprised when I asked about eating lunch - but she said sure - then had us sit and wait for a table to be set up. She set us on the far side of the dining room with our backs to the residents eating lunch. We never saw Laura again. We felt unwanted and abandoned.

I had a nice visit to Copper Lake. It’s a beautiful place, but the rooms are so small. I’ve got claustrophobia, and I couldn’t handle that. The grounds are beautiful, the dining area is beautiful, and the way they do their food is very nice. They’ve got different selections that you can order, and it’s more like a restaurant. The residents seemed to be very nice and happy. It’s a lovely atmosphere. They did a lot of things for their people, they have a lot of activities, and they were getting ready to have a fishing tournament in the lake. They had art and food classes, Bingo, card games, and all those things. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet.

Copper Lake was a bit pricey, and I got the impression that if you didn’t meet the standards or the financial part of it, you might as well forget it. The staff was OK, but as I said, they were a little more pricey, and a little more upper class. I just got the feeling that dad wouldn't like it there. And it was just too much money for us.

The personnel at Copper Lake Estates were fantastic. They answered all questions, they were very helpful, and they were very nice. We went touring, and one thing I really like is that the residents wear this little necklace which is a GPS finder, so if they get tired halfway around the lake, they just press a button, and the staff will be able to find them. I don't know what they call them, but they also have this thing in the resident's room, and it kind of monitors their movement. Like if they get up five times in the night, they know they have been up stirring and wandering around and going to the bathroom. They use it to monitor possible health issues or problems. If they don't get up at all, they know they will have to check on something. The place was not as dated, and it had a life that was very pretty. There seemed to be a lot of people out and about and active. There was one group activity, but the rest were out kind of socializing in the common area. The rooms were larger, and it is adequate. The problem is the woman I am looking for is coming from a 3000 square foot home, so nothing is going to be adequate for her. It is going to be a hard sell for her; however, I like that place. The place is nice, and it seems to be a more active environment.

I thought the Copper Lake Estates was a very nice facility. I just think my mom needs more care than what an assisted living facility could provide. It was just a small room with a sink and a bathroom. It is not like an apartment or anything, but more of an efficiency type. Their area was like a park lake setting that kind of surrounds this lake. They can go out and walk around the lake or eat their lunch there. The staff was very helpful. They seemed friendly and willing to answer questions, but it wasn't going to be where my mom could go.

We went to Cooper Lake. It was very nice, but did not meet our needs. The lady that had us signed in was very nice. The dining area was very nice, and they had lots of food choices. However, they didn't have the amount of space that we needed. I had also visited the place because my friend lived there. She really liked it, and they treated her well.

Copper Lake Estates is really nice if we could just afford this one. They have everything. They have the charity. It is very nice. They have activities. All the employees and the residents seemed very happy and friendly, and it just seems like that it would be a good environment for my mom to find friends. The price range was not that bad. It is just that mom has a low income. She only has social security coming in. It is in a really nice neighborhood, and it is soothing. It is kind of out of the way, and it has a lake which the cafeteria kind of overlooks so it is just a very nice facility.

Copper Lake was not a life care. They just had independent and the next care. However, they seemed to have a lot of activities going on. They had separate apartments, but it was all in one building.

Copper Lake Estates was a little larger than what I had seen, and it had more closet space. The rooms were roomier. It was very clean. They seem to have lots of activities, too. They showed me all of the building, and it had a beautiful view. It has a lake out in front. They had facilities for pets. The dining area looked really nice. It had tablecloths, and it looked very pleasant. The staff seemed to be very efficient and very pleasant as well.

Copper Lake Estates was homey. I talked to the people about the building, and it was safe. The staff was very nice and informative. They told me several options there as far as living and gave me their prices. However, I decided what they offered was not for me. They showed me the apartment, and I was not interested in their apartments. They told me about the cottages that they had, their square footage and layout. They told me everything that they provided for the residents who lived there. Some of the recreation and programs that they had were interesting enough, but I was not that interested to actually live there. It was a wonderful community and I thought it was very nice. It just wasn't for me.

Copper Lake Estates was really nice, but it was really expensive. It's big. The rooms are really nice and pretty good sized. It's probably why they're expensive. I thought the staff was very nice. It seems like they have a lot of activities. They were friendly, and there were people around everywhere. Everybody seemed really happy.

We visited Copper Lake Estates, and the whole experience was very pleasant. We went in. We had lunch. We visited with the director, and we met some of the residents and staff. We met the therapy director and the recreational director, and everybody was very pleasant. It was a beautiful establishment. It was clean. They were organized. It was very good, and I was really happy with the visit.

i toured here recently looking for my mother. The sales counselor, Alex, toured us and actually listened to what we needed instead of talking over us. We stayed and had lunch and the food was excellent, I never thought food would be like this in a retirement home and mom loved it! The director took time to introduce herself and talk to us about senior housing and the whole time we talked current tenants living there would stop in to say hi and chat. You could tell the tenants were happy and the director and staff cared. We even discussed "what ifs" for when mom's care progresses and we were pleased to know they have an assisted living on site and we toured that as well. The people living there looked very well cared for and we actually saw staff in the halls doing their job and helping people, unlike another community close to this one where we walked the halls and NEVER saw another soul!! We are very happy and will be moving mom into her new home at Copperlake

We chose Copper Lake Estates for my dad because they are very accommodating. My dad has bladder cancer and he needs a catheter, but they allowed my dad in and are very accommodating to his needs. They made it easy for us. They would do a monthly evaluation on the nursing care that my dad needs, so if he doesn't need much, we don't have to pay as much. They are pretty reasonable compared to the rest of the places around here. I like the fact that he can age there and when the time comes when he needs it, more care is available. He won't have to move again. Everybody is just really sweet, supportive and nice. Another thing worth mentioning about this facility is the location. The setting is beautiful. It's clean and friendly. There is a lake and it's so peaceful there.

My family chose Copper Lake Estates for me. They compared it to a lot other facilities, the cost, as well as the amenities. When I get up in the morning, I look out my window I see lake with geese, ducks, and even heron occasionally. It's wonderful. The staff is really good. They take me to where I need to go. I do everything for myself, but they check on me. The food is good and served in generous portions, especially the breakfast, they're magnificent. I'm gaining weight.

Copper Lake is very beautiful and has a nice view. They have this beautiful large pond. They have a very reasonable price. They have state of the art monitoring care, where each residents have this emergency alert necklaces. The staff is great. They give a lot of personal care and attention to their residents. And their residents love being there. We've been very thankful that we found this place for my dad.

My father has been in 3 different facilities, and CopperLake is by far the best I have found. It is not perfect - all care facilities deal with staff turnover, however, I have found Copper Lake to be diligent in providing good, caring assisted living services. My dad has been there 2 years. We have had occasional concerns, but they were addressed courteously and resolved to our satisfaction. Dad enjoys his days - such a God-send, compared to finding him "forgotten and neglected emotionally" elsewhere. Family are welcomed at any time, and communication is good with all staff and administration. No matter where a loved one is, family should monitor care regularly, get to know facility caregivers, and never be afraid to ask questions. CopperLake works with us to provide my dad a quality life as he deals with moderate Alzheimer's and declining abilities.
