"My wife and I toured Arbor House of Midwest City. We liked the quality of the living conditions. The service of the person who took us on the tour is high quality. The place is nice and beautiful. And the people are nice. We went there for a place to stay of a quality that we could accept and that was there. The offer for full service and programs of outreach going out into the city occasionally are the things that were very attractive to us. Some things were available inside assisted living that would keep us occupied like educational opportunities and social atmosphere. The location is so convenient for everything like shopping. There are auto mechanics and service stations, too. Everything is so convenient. I live right on the same street."

"The Village on the Park - Oklahoma City was very nice. From walking in the front door to walking out when we left, everything was wonderful. The people were wonderful. The two ladies who showed us around were wonderful in answering every question we had. The place was decorated to the nines for Christmas, not just in the lobby, but throughout the whole place. All of the people that we met, from the servers in the dining room to the people who take care of the maintenance, were very helpful in answering all our questions. The food was fine. It wasn't fine dining, but it was fine. The rooms that we looked at were adequate. We like their two-bedroom cottage very, very much. The Village on the Park would be one that will be on the top of our list."

"Grace Pointe is an awesome place, but I might need more of an assisted living type thing. For people who are healthy and can get around, it was a wonderful place. They didn't have food. They have a brunch- type thing in the mornings. The rest of it is kind of up to you and they have potlucks there. It's clean and nice. The rooms were nice. I didn't pick up any kind of smell, and they were big and kind of roomy for what you were getting. They furnished the cable and the wi-fi and I think the electric stuff was all paid. The woman who assisted us had a golf cart and told us we could ride on that with her. She was personable and pretty much explained everything. I did get a call from them, though, after I saw them, and they told me that they didn't do assisted living in any shape or form. They have storm shelters, and it's a locked community and it's just apartments with people over 55. For what they are, they're pretty nice."

"I toured Sooner Station University North Park. I've been watching it being built. I thought it was student housing because it said Sooner Station. I thought it was student housing until they put up a sign that it was a senior facility. I was like OK. I toured the place, and it being brand new, I walked in and just saw cleanliness. I walked around and saw how nice the place was. It was another nice place to go to. The staff was good. She was at the front desk and she showed me around, because she stayed at the front desk, but she did know what was going on there. She took me around all over and it was nice."

"I'm going to Silver Elm Estates Norman. It is wonderful. The room is big enough, and everything was just really wonderful. They have so many activities, and that's what I'm really interested in. They've got music, games, and everything. I just love it. I'm so excited. They have a room where they have their birthday parties and special occasions if you want to be with your family. It's big enough for Christmas to have all my family there. We ate there and it was very, very good. You can have breakfast any time, morning, evening, and night. It has all kinds of things for breakfast: waffles, pancakes, bacon and eggs. It's all good. I had fish for dinner, and the fish was delicious. I had vegetables, and they were great. I love the floor plan. The rooms are wider, so you can make things fit better. There'll be some things I probably can't. I'm gonna store them in my second bedroom first, and then I'm gonna change them around. I love the dining room because they put the smaller tables all together and made one big long table. We all sat at the long table this morning and we had more laughter and more fun. I just enjoyed my whole day talking to new people and laughing. It was nice, and my niece really did like it. The staff was wonderful. I didn't even know there was anything to be shown over there in the garden area. It's just a bunch of nice, beautiful trees, and then they get it all landscaped out, all the green grass, and no weeds. It's gorgeous. The cleanliness is wonderful. No smells, no nothing. It smelled so nice and fresh in there when we came in. It was very, very clean."

"We have a 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment at Creekside village. The people are really nice, friendly, and helpful, so we enjoy it very much. We've been here for one week. They have an exercise room, a library, computer room, and a swimming pool. They have a little lake out front with ducks, and the grounds are well-kept. They take care of maintenance problems promptly. They provide maybe three activities a week. The staff is excellent."

"I went to Villagio at Bradford Village. Villagio is a smaller community, which we like. What I like most about this community is the friendliness of the staff, the appearance of the entry area and the dining room, and that people were happy, and content, and gave good reviews of it. They have an outdoor area. There's a playground area for children that might visit. There are games and activities for people. Visitors are welcome. There's a parking space for people who are visiting."

"Touchmark at Coffee Creek seemed like a bright and happy place. The woman that I met named Susan was super helpful. She had all kinds of information for me. I was able to tour one of the apartments and walk through the entire facility. The community looked fairly well-kept. They were in the middle of changing the carpet out and readying the room that I was seeing for the next occupant. What stood out to me is that their dishwasher was raised. So, when you open the dishwasher, you're not having to reach down to the floor to empty it."

"I toured Tealridge Retirement Community. It was good. The food was excellent. They invited us for a meal, so we went about lunchtime. We looked at both one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms, and they were very nice."

"Epworth Villa was very clean. Everybody was nice and helpful. The food was fantastic. It's just a well-cared-for property. They have libraries and gyms, and they have different outings that they go on and different clubs that meet there. The rooms were spacious and very well kept."

"I toured the Album Quail Springs. It's more expensive than the other facility. They have very nice facilities, but it was more than I wanted to spend. The staff was very good. The rooms are wonderful. They have a swimming pool, they have all kinds of activities, it's just a very open, inviting place. The food was excellent. The dining area was very good and nice."

"We caught Town Village off guard when we went in there without being invited. But the facility was very nice and very clean. The restaurant looked nice and clean. The apartments were nice and spacious. The pricing seemed comparable with everybody else. It was a very nice facility. The lady staff was extremely nice. She was very accommodating when we walked in off the street and showed us everything that she could show us, and she gave us a brochure on it. She showed us the different amenities that they had. We liked it."
