My sister is a resident of Village on the Park - Oklahoma City. I like the facility. The staff is very helpful. They do very well. It is a nice little community. Everybody gets along really well, but they have the same problems that all senior places have and that's trying to find good cooks. The food is pretty good. The structure is good. They have a lot of activities. They have a very good activities director. They have bingo. They have cards. They get together, they have a thing for Easter, and a lot of things for drawing kids. They had a car show one time. The atmosphere is always good.

We toured Village on the Park - Oklahoma City. It's a sprawling facility. I mean, it's very large, spread out quite a bit. They have cottages, which is why we would prefer to have a cottage. They do have about 1,000 square feet. That's what we would prefer, because of the dogs. The security is good. It's one entrance. They have some units that are kind of outlying, but most of the units are inside, and you have to go into the facility to get into the units. The staff was very friendly and very informative. They answered all our questions and were very nice people.

We liked the arrangement of the little apartments at Village on the Park-Oklahoma City. We thought everything was clean and nice and they had everything you would need to be taken care of. We were impressed with that. They showed us the laundry and the dining room. Everyone we met was very friendly and answered all of our questions. They were very informative and caring.

I visited Village on the Park - Oklahoma City. The staff was wonderful. They were so nice to us and the residents were really nice. It was a beautiful place. It was clean. It didn't smell. We liked everything about it. The tour guide, Margaret, was wonderful. We looked at three different apartments and they were all beautiful. They were having a prom and decorating the place up. They were all so excited about going to a dance that night. They have a lot of activities there because we saw pictures of it up on the walls, and everybody would tell us about what all they do. The thing I liked best is the doorways open to the inside hallway, and their backyards open to a courtyard, and that courtyard is completely fenced in, so if they have a little dog or something, it can't get out. Even if it was to get out of their little area, it can't get out into the street or anything.

Village on the Park - Oklahoma City was a nice facility. We liked the cottages. We had lunch with them, and the food was good. The staff was great. They're very nice. And the cottages were of good size. I liked the place. The apartments themselves were standard around 700 square feet or something like that. And they had some smaller ones, too. We looked at a cottage and an apartment, and they were nice and clean. I like the location. It was off the main road and there's a nice park across the street from it.

My parents have moved into Village on the Park - Oklahoma City. They're going to start independent. In respect to the facility, it's well maintained, and clean, with bright, airy dining and activity facilities. The rooms themselves were also well kept up. The staff was warm, welcoming, quick to respond to every question or request, and yet not too pushy. They worked on our schedule and on our timeline. My parents have eaten a couple of meals there, and the food seems fine. We don't have enough experience to rate it, but the food appeared freshly made and nicely presented with a friendly staff. There's a very full program of physical activities, games, presentations, and music. It seems like a lively community. It's not brand new. It's been there up and running, it's not bright and shiny new, but it's perfectly well maintained and has a good staff. It seems fairly priced.

I was able to tour Village on the Park - Oklahoma City. It was very positive. I liked the tour guide. She was very kind and knowledgeable. She answered all the questions and was responsive to the feedback we had. She made sure that we got to see all of the options that were relevant to us. It was lovely. All of the rooms were nice and spacious. You could see that everything was well cared for. We passed by several seniors just going about their day, and they seemed happy and engaged in whatever it was they were doing.

Village on the Park - Oklahoma City was an impressive place and it was very comfortable over there. It was very clean and well-kept. Everybody was just so welcoming and so friendly. The person who toured me around was very nice and helpful. She answered all the questions and gave me information. I remember seeing some of the residents there doing exercise.

I have decided to move into Village on the Park - Oklahoma City. I have put a deposit and I'll be moving within two weeks. They seem friendly. It's clean and it has a good atmosphere. The place is very nice and homey. Everyone was just very nice and made me feel welcome. The room is very nice and very appropriate. It's small but that's what I'm needing now, and I think it's a good size for this transition. The dining area is extremely nice. They have all kinds of activities. They go out on day trips. They have card games and they have people coming in to give shows and entertainment. It seems like it's going to be very active, and I need that.

The facilities at Village on the Park - Oklahoma City are beautiful. They have lots of apartments for seniors. They have the assisted living and the memory care, and it's all in this big complex. Some of the people that I saw were waiting to catch a bus. They were going someplace and they were dressed really nice. It was quite expensive, but it was really nice and had a homey feeling. The lady during the tour was nice. The aesthetics there were really good. Even the landscaping and everything was nice. Your first impression as you drive up is very, very positive, because it's really pretty. Their lobby was really beautiful and there were lots of ladies that were sitting in that area, and when I asked them, they said they liked it really well. The tour itself was just a little shorter than I would have liked.

Mom is at Village on the Park-Oklahoma City. I loved the care there and the community atmosphere. They are wonderful. Anytime you need any assistance, they're there for you. They have a great cafeteria, a hair salon, a nail salon, an ice cream parlor, and daily activities throughout the day. Her apartment is great. It has a little kitchenette, a spacious living room, a spacious bedroom, a spacious bathroom, a big walk-in closet, and double doors that go out to a courtyard. Another thing that I like is medication distribution. It is above and beyond. You pay for that, but they have that within the facility, which is great. It gives family members great peace of mind knowing that their parents are well cared for.

Village on the Park Oklahoma City is a very nice community. It's very fancy. It was originally set up to be all independent living, and they've added on memory care and assisted living that even now it's all mostly independent living. The memory care is in the back, in a corner, and there are just a few rooms, and it's the same with assisted living. They had good care of their residents. The rooms were a little smaller, at least the ones I saw. They only have 12 memory care rooms. It's a great big community, but they have very few memory care rooms, and the same with assisted living. It's an afterthought, they added it on afterward. They're shoved in the back, and the corner. I didn't like that part. It was so isolated. They have a courtyard set up, and they're right across from a great big park. There's lots of open space around it. It's a very pretty place. I talked with a few of the residents while I was waiting for the tour to start, and they all seemed happy, and these are independent living people. They all seem very satisfied with it. I just didn't like that the memory care was cut off from everything and it's just a small area of the whole building.

Village on the Park - Oklahoma City was great. I had a lovely time. Everybody was very personable. I enjoyed the facility. I liked it. I hope that that is somewhere that my mom would decide to go. If I would have had my grandmother in a place like Village on the Park, she would have still been alive today. That's how impressed I am with that facility. The staff during the tour was great. Everybody there loved her. She was very informative, very patient, and very inviting. They have little apartments. They also have cottages (it's like a duplex with a garage on it). From independent living, you could go over to assisted living.

Village on the Park - Oklahoma City was a very nice place. It seemed very pleasing for an older folks' home. It seemed good. Everybody was nice. Everything seemed to be a good deal. The staff showed me a one-bedroom and it was fine. They showed me their little ice cream shop and the little activities that they usually do. There are regular activities going on. It was all good. They had a little courtyard. There was access from outside to inside the apartment and then there was access through the hallways inside the center.

Village on the Park - Oklahoma City was nice and seemed like a good place to live. It has easy access to things, and there are a lot of activities and stuff they provide. The girl I met was the activity director. She was very pleasant, very knowledgeable, and very nice. They had one-bedroom, one bath apartments with a patio and without one. They have a library and a place where they eat and do other activities like bingo. They would also have a church service out in a big area in the hallways.

I'm living in one of the cottages of Village on the Park - Oklahoma City. It's been fine. I'm satisfied. I have not had any problems. Three meals a day are included, also they provide a free shuttle service for doctors' appointments. The food is nourishing, but it's bland. There's something going on from morning till evening, every day of the week.

My sister is at Village on the Park Oklahoma City, and she'll be there one year in March. Her overall experience is very positive. She has improved while being there because she did suffer from some degree of dementia. Her room is a place I wouldn't mind living in. They do an excellent job and have their own people that take care of everything. It's like a fine dining experience when I go to eat with her, they have chefs preparing the food and it's delicious. They have daily exercise, dances, and mental exercise programs going on during the day all over the facility. It's just a wonderful place to be. It's laid out in a lengthy fashion, kind of like a very long building. The apartment wings go off of that long hallway, so they get their exercise by going to the cafeteria and going to the activities and the dances and the live music performances that they have coming in weekly. They keep them very well engaged. You don't even have to leave there unless you have a doctor's appointment, or you have something going on with family or whatever because they supply all the meals. They have someone on staff to even do errands for people. It's just wonderful.

I did a tour of Village on the Park -Oklahoma City. If someone were to want more of a private living, or not quite ready to go in where they were completely inside of a facility, I liked the cottages. The fact that you could still be a part of it, where you could go in and eat if you wanted, take part in activities, or you could still stay in your home. You could still have that facility and then gradually work into it. I did like the independent living; I didn't tour any of the assisted living or memory care. Everyone was very friendly. I've been in the facility quite a lot over the years since I've lived here with my kids. When they were Girl Scouts, we would go and sing Christmas carols and things like that. Everything was contained there. It wasn't a nursing home, but someone that wasn't quite ready to be inside the facility, the independent living was still enough where they were so separate, as well as they could participate in activities. I looked at the cottages, as well as the independent part of it, which were like apartments. I liked the fact that it had a little patio, and they allowed you to put up a little fence. It's important because if he does this, he can take his dog; that would allow him to do that. You can't take them out in the facility and walk around among the other guests, but you have to have one of the units that have a patio, and then you can take them out in the open grounds outside and leave them that way. They are allowed to have them in their apartments, but in assisted living, they were not. Everything I saw seemed clean and organized. The lady that gave the tour knew the names of everybody that was walking down the hall, it was very personal. She did offer for us to try the food, but it wasn't a time where I could do it. She did say that I could come back and bring my father or myself and have lunch or dinner, but I just haven't had the occasion to do that with him.

I have moved into the Village on the Park-Oklahoma City. They have excellent care, good facilities, and the food is good. The staff is excellent. All I've used so far has been the exercise room. They also have laundry and a series of activities that you can participate each day. They have an outdoor area. They have gardening clubs, and a number of activities that I haven't participated in yet (will be participating in the future). Even though they got damaged with a tree falling on the roof during the last ice storm, everything has been excellent.

I toured Village on the Park - Oklahoma City. I liked the way it was. They had cottages with garages, and I liked that. The room was nice and I liked the way it was laid out. I liked the amenities, too. I liked everything about it.

I could describe the rooms, etc., but none would mean as much to our family as did the care the staff gave to him. They loved our dad and embraced our family. For that, we will always be grateful.

Village on the Park's staff was super and very nice. The freedom you have there is what I like. You can eat anytime from 7:00 in the morning to 6:30 at night, and that impressed me. They have exercise equipment and they give you certain days when they can help you with that. They have a lot of amenities that are available to people. They keep the place clean and it smelled good. They make you feel really at home.

The cottage in Village on the Park is small, but it has a garage, they're pet friendly, and the activities were more what I would be more involved in. I'm more into sewing and bible studies, and that's the thing I liked about the Village. Cleanliness was very good, and they have a good dining room, but you either have to drive around to it or you walk to it, and I have a hard time walking. They take you to doctors around the community, and they provide a lot of good services.

I was very impressed with Village on the Park at Oklahoma City. The atmosphere was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. In fact, there was a lady there whom I used to work with, and she was wonderful. I wanted to live there. The rooms were adequate. They were small, but I understood they were going to be small. They would change the carpet every time there was a change of resident, so I was very impressed with that. I thought the rooms were nice. Everything was perfect, other than that it didn't have storm shelters. That's huge in Oklahoma City, especially South Oklahoma City.

Village on the Park was very nice. It was an older facility, but it was very nice. The staff was nice and friendly, though we did not see many. Most of residents had Alzheimer’s, some were in wheelchairs and some had walkers and some did not. They seemed to be content there as far as the people could be content.

We choose Village on the Park because my parents decide that's what they want. They have the independent living, the memory care, and the assisted living all in one place. The community is very nice, and my parents like it. It is clean, and the people are friendly. They actually have cottages there, and they are of a nice size. They take trips to casinos, and they have trips to the grocery stores, to medications, and toappointments. They also have a garage in the condos so you can have a car if you need to.

Village on the Park was a beautiful facility, and there was a big park right across the street from it, so that is where it gets its name. They have patio type homes; it's a very nice facility. They have lots of things for people to do, limousine service two or three days a week to different things that they took people to, one or two bedrooms, and facilities for the family. If you are a resident and you have family coming in, they have free rooms for the family. They have laundry facilities and lots of planned activities, and I was very impressed by it.

I chose Village on the Park for my dad because of its size, layout, and because it was bright. Their activities are beyond exceptional. The staff working there are very good. They have a good interaction with my dad, attending to his needs and seem to be respectful of him. They have two choices to choose from for their food. I liked their chairs, it was easy to get in to and they have rollers.
