"Lyndale Edmond was the best one among all the places I toured. It was a good place. They had an outdoor pool, and the food was wonderful. The rooms have appliances like a microwave, an oven, and a refrigerator. They had everything in there. They were nice and polite, and they told me everything I wanted to know."

"The Veraden is beautiful, very sophisticated, and very upper class. However, my mom didn't feel at home there. It was almost too nice for her, but for someone who is looking for that, it would be wonderful. It's confusing because it is so big. It would be hard for her to navigate. We were going to move her in there, but then we realized that she didn't like it. It is large with a complicated layout, but it's beautiful and very top-of-the-line luxurious. It is higher priced, but it is very nice. The location is convenient. They also have a swimming pool."

"This place is clean. The staff seem to care about the people there. The residents are given 3 meals a day, some snacks. They have things for them to do like: exercises, prayer and praise, games to play, like bingo and dominoes. Sometimes they will take short bus trips to different places. Sometimes they will have people bring animals from the zoo, people to sing, play the piano, and entertain, etc. They have a doctor there once a week and a nurse on call all the time, but she is there 5 days a week. It is a secure facility. "

"My grandmother was moved into this facility after my grandfather passed away. My grandmother was a very social person and this facility soon became home to her. She started playing bingo and making crafts with the other residents. She made friends and went on field trips. My grandmother was very happy there. She said her meals were close to gourmet even though they weren't like her cooking. Each room had a large bathroom and it was very easy for her to bathe and do her daily living rituals. It came with a half-kitchen with a microwave, small refrigerator and a sink. When she did not want to go to dinner, she cooked a little something for herself in the microwave.They also allowed her to keep her pet. That was very important to her. Her dog made her very happy. The apartment had a back door into the courtyard where she could walk her dog and be safe.The apartment was also equipped with a panic button. She accidentally hit it once while making the bed and the staff was there in minutes.All in all, it was a great place for my grandmother to live. When she passed, the staff came to her funeral and were very nice when we came to clean out the apartment. "

"My wife and I toured Arbor House of Midwest City. We liked the quality of the living conditions. The service of the person who took us on the tour is high quality. The place is nice and beautiful. And the people are nice. We went there for a place to stay of a quality that we could accept and that was there. The offer for full service and programs of outreach going out into the city occasionally are the things that were very attractive to us. Some things were available inside assisted living that would keep us occupied like educational opportunities and social atmosphere. The location is so convenient for everything like shopping. There are auto mechanics and service stations, too. Everything is so convenient. I live right on the same street."

"Fountainbrook was newer and more modern. The rooms were really nice. I just didn't feel quite as relaxed there. The facility was not that old; it was more up-to-date. The dining area was large, and it gave you more of an institutional feeling. The staff was good and interfaced well with the residents. The one thing I did like was that they had a safe room because they have tornadoes in Oklahoma. The food wasn't bad. "

The people were very pleasant, and she has been doing very well since she's been there. Their rooms are very clean, and pretty spacious too. I haven’t eaten there, but she said the food is delicious. "My mother-in-law is at Baptist Village in their long-term memory care area. One reason why I chose it is because they take Medicaid. They also have a very good reputation. The building itself is very old and had really nothing nice about it, but I liked the staff. I feel like she would get good care, and it’s very close to our house. "Meadow Lake is totally full. It is very nice and more reasonably price than some; however, it has a lot of very long hallways. If you have someone like my dad that is 92 and walking with a walker, to walk as far as those places to get to the dining room wasn't feasible for him. It is very nice, and I think it will be a good place for a lot of people. In fact, I have a friend whose brother is in there, and they really like it. But it didn't work for my dad, and it has a wait list. I toured the whole place, and I toured the nursing home side as well. It is fairly new, so it is very clean. The rooms are very large, probably some of the largest rooms that I saw when I was touring other places. I think it is great. They have washers and dryers in the room, and they have laundry services there too. "

"Everyone is very friendly. The building is clean and the love within the home is felt the minute you walk in. I have had a loved on here for three years and it feels amazing, smells amazing and more importantly the care is great. If there is ever any issues the executive director, Holly, is always available to make sure that any issues are taken care timely an effectively. I highly recommend this place. "
