My mother has moved into Brookdale Edmond Danforth. The care is excellent. We like her room and she's comfortable. They just don't have enough help right now, and I think that's the biggest problem. There's not enough staff, but they do good with what they've got. The food is good. They play cards, they have bingo, and they have exercises. They've got a lot of stuff there. They have a family room that you can go in, a TV room, a visitor room, a solarium, and an outside patio where you can go out. The staff is great. They call me all the time. They always let me know what's going on. I feel comfortable with her there. I know they're going to keep me up with what's going on.

My experience with Brookdale Edmond Danforth was great. We had no problems with it. Mom's only concern is the rooms are small. The biggest room that they have was pretty small, and she's in a walker. It was kind of hard getting around in a walker. The staff was great. They gave us lunch, and the food was great. We had roast beef, mashed potatoes, and carrots. It was very tender, and the dessert was wonderful. Compared to some of the other ones, it was on a smaller scale. She loved the whole facility, but the room was too small.

Brookdale was an excellent facility. We were very impressed. They had a very nice dining room, meeting room, and tables set up to play games. The director was very personable, interested in the people there, and seemed very caring. It seemed very homey.

Brookdale Edmond Danforth. My mother was a resident at Brookdale on Danforth in Edmond. We were so happy and pleased with their entire staff. They always went out of their way to care for our mother. Nursing, techs, administration and all services were friendly and genuine. We always felt that our mother was important to Brookdale and staff worked with us on a number of situations we were dealing with. One example was when we discovered our mother had a reaction to a certain antibiotic. Once we notified the Brookdale staff after returning from the hospital they took note of this and contacted her doctor's office when another antibiotic of that same class was prescribed. By doing this, they were able to stop any future reactions. We would not have realized this if they had not been on their toes. We so appreciated their willingness to be an advocate for our mother!

I placed my mother at Brookdale Edmond Danforth. The staff was very friendly. The apartments were very nice and clean. We chose to go there because they had a room that fit our needs, and the price was within our budget. They do activities morning and afternoon, and they have a program that offers enough for all of the residents. After we placed my mom, they seemed to have a good participation in those events.

We went to Sterling House. The staff was very nice and answered all the questions that we had for them. They seemed very caring. The place was very nice, clean, and very beautifully decorated. We saw one empty room and a couple of client's rooms. It looked like a small apartment, and it was very homey. The whole facility looked like someone's home. We saw some activities. They had bingo, wine tasting, and painting. We saw the dining room, and we saw the food. It looked excellent. The dining room looked like a dining room of someone's home. I was totally impressed with the whole facility, the courtyard, the room, the hallways, the pictures, and the staff. I would want to live there. We had a great experience, and I would recommend it to anyone.

I liked the people of Sterling House of Edmond, and the place was really nice, but they had memory loss people eating in the dining area and in the open areas with the assisted living people, and I just felt my mom would be more comfortable with people around her who were more like she was and not those who were worse off. As upsetting as it was to me, it might not have bothered Mom as much, but it is upsetting to me to see all the people sitting around in wheelchairs asleep or bent over and then the others moving around that made it a nursing home situation together with an assisted living, and I just don't care for that personally. I was very pleased with the staff and their friendliness and openness. I just prefer the separation. The rooms were lovely. I saw a couple of different sized rooms, and they were very nice. They charge extra for giving out medications to the assisted living and for helping them bathe, so that also was a problem for us because that would run her bill up higher.

We wanted someplace close to our home. Sterling House is small. It's like a family. The food looks good, and it seems like it always looks really good. They take really good care of my mother-in-law. It's not too expensive. It's always clean and nice, and she's always taken care of. The staff is very sweet, and they are just kind as can be. The studio rooms are kind of small, but the other rooms are pretty adequate. They have all kinds of things. They watch football, they have nail-polishing parties, they watch basketball, they have exercises, and church services. I like the people who work there.

The director seems to make up the rules as she goes along. Charging you excess $ if she thinks you can afford it so she can bring other people in , who get same services but are charged less, just so she can get her vacation free. Sounds like a racket to me. I have been told of many occasions where some of the under staff have bought food, just so residents could eat. What is the director doing with the money? very under handed dealings, my friend is moving her father soon because of a change in staff. His daughter has no trust in the director

I visited Sterling House of Edmond for my dad. I really liked this facility but they were pricey on the nursing care. They seemed to just milk you for every little thing.

This place is clean. The staff seem to care about the people there. The residents are given 3 meals a day, some snacks. They have things for them to do like: exercises, prayer and praise, games to play, like bingo and dominoes. Sometimes they will take short bus trips to different places. Sometimes they will have people bring animals from the zoo, people to sing, play the piano, and entertain, etc. They have a doctor there once a week and a nurse on call all the time, but she is there 5 days a week. It is a secure facility.
