Condo was very clean, floor plan was well thought out, nice size rooms. No food. LaDonna, the person showing the condo was very courteous, helpful, and seemed to be very knowledgeable about the property. She was able to answer all our questions and made us feel very comfortable.

We have been to a place called Mon Abri. It's very nice. It's a pretty high end and upscale place. They don't have a dining room; it's strictly independent living. They have a clubhouse, which I liked. The apartments are small, but very nice. Also it's gated. It's a very nice place. The apartments are a little bit small, but it is doable. They're mostly just two-bedroom apartments. The staff was very nice.

The staff members at Mon Abri are very wonderful, very nice, very kind, and very compassionate. My room is beautiful and it overlooks the lake. We make our own food. They have an exercise room, a clubhouse, and a safe room to protect you against tornados. They have activities outside, they go for seniors dinners, they have an exercise room, and they have people come in and do chair yoga and different exercises at no cost. My wife's birthday is coming up in July and we reserved the clubhouse for a party there (it didn't cost anything extra at all). It's in a nice area, and it's a nice, beautiful compound, and they're building another extension. They have get-togethers, card games, game nights, and dancing over at the senior citizen place, which is about a mile away.

I am at Mon Abri in a one-bedroom with a wood floor and all stainless steel appliances. It has fans in all the rooms, including the covered porch area. Each unit has a fireplace, 10-ft ceilings, enclosed garage, storage area, and closets. It's quite nice. They provide internet, TV, water, and garbage collection service. They have walking trails, a big clubhouse room where they have movies once a week, two big TVs, full-size cooking area, and tornado shelter. It's only three years old. They have exercise programs like chair aerobics, events, Christmas dinner, and Christmas carols. They have concierge service, take you shopping, and will order food for you. The cost is pretty reasonable.

Mon Abri looked like a really nice apartment complex. It would be a nice place to live, and the apartment for one person was plenty spacious. Everything was well updated on the inside because they're not very old. The first time you walk in, there's a big wide area with a fireplace. They had a weights room, and lots of sidewalks so you can go walk around outside and over to their little pond. It was close to perfect, except they don't do food there. The staff member that assisted me was very nice and knowledgeable. The place had lots of flowers and pretty seniors.

Mon Abri was a very nice place, but it was just more expensive than what I could afford. The staff was very nice and caring. They showed me some of the places. The apartments were very nice and roomy.
