My brother moved into Amber Park Senior Living. He gets the care that he needs. They get three planned meals a day. They have activities for them, activities on site, and they also take them if they want to sign up and go on short trips to the store or something like that. So, it's quite a nice place. I've interacted fairly with management, the director, and the director of nursing. The staff all seem very friendly. They know my brother by name. They seem to be very good, and the food, from what I can tell, is good. They can have multiple portions if they want. They have an executive chef, so it's not just somebody just throwing things together for them. The nursing staff works 12 hours a day. So, there are going to be multiple people. Most of them, I think, are quite good. Some of them may not be as good, but overall, they know who he is and what he needs, and they seem to take care of him. They clean the residence apartments once a week, and they do their laundry. It's a very clean place. There are a lot of different things for them to do. Ahead of time, they will publish the activities they will have next week. They also have a fair number of things, and some are standing activities. They have a card club, and they play bingo.

I went to check out Amber Park Senior Living's assisted living. It seems to be clean and has a lot of activities available and scheduled. They had rooms or areas where if you would come to visit the residents and younger members of the family could also have things to do. They have transportation for the residents there, too. I didn't try the food but they explained what they were and gave me a sample menu. It seemed to have a pretty good variety available to them. The staff I talked to was very informative and seemed to have a lot of knowledge about how things work there and what to expect.

I liked that Amber Park Senior Living had a lot of activities to keep their residents active and engaged. There wasn't anything I didn't like. The staff during the tour seemed very knowledgeable. She introduced me to the other staff as we were touring. The residents seemed engaged in the things that they were doing. They have a salon and laundry facilities so they can do their own or laundry is provided for them. There was a movie theater and a game room. It was very clean.

My mother has resided at Amber Park for almost 3 years. Although a difficult transition for her, the staff has been attentive and compassionate. She is now very happy in her apartment . Mark, Rebecca , Tanika, Debbie , and all employees , have gone above and beyond. I am grateful for their kindness and dedication to her comfort.
