"Sage Park Alzheimer's Special Care Center is very impressive. However, I'm not sure my mom is ready for memory care. I am super impressed with it. If my mom gets to the point where there is more of a memory care need, then I would definitely consider this place. It is great for memory care. They definitely specialize in that. The staff memnber who assisted me was wonderful. She's one of the reasons why I would totally consider them. They have a shared room, which is minimal. They have private rooms, but even with a private room it is a shared bathroom. The rooms are small. They keep the residents busy there. They go from one activity to another."

"It is pretty new. It was clean, and the staff is well done. I do not think they are on top as far as things to do, but I think are trying. I think the presentation of walking in the lobby kind of caught our eye, and the presentation of the people who gave us the tour was very nice. I have tried the food a couple of times. At first it was very good, and as time went by, their portions have become smaller, and the food is not that great. They are short on activities, and I would like to see them have more activities for the residents. They have a lovely pool place, and my ex-husband Phil is teaching pool there. "

"I liked everything about Cherry Blossom Senior Living. The food was excellent. The rooms were excellent. The people were excellent. They were very nice and warm people. They make you feel welcomed at all times. They include you like you're part of the family there. They have on-staff nursing all the time for everybody. The building was nice and clean. This facility was the best one I've been to. The only thing was I think their price was too high."

"I love The Village of Westerville. I think it's a perfect place. I saw a lot of the residents sitting, playing games, and doing things like that. The rooms were perfect. The dining room was beautiful. There's lots of room around, and you can go outside. My brother likes planting flowers and different things like that, so that would be ideal because they have a gazebo that they've already set up for people who could plant flowers. The people that took us around were wonderful. There's a little kitchenette in the room. It has a smaller refrigerator, a microwave, and a sink. I was impressed with the rooms. The way they were laid out was nice."

"The staff at Westerwood was very nice and helpful. The rooms had different layouts. They had rooms with garages to them and lots of storage areas. They were very nice. They had a little garden area outside, a pool table, a woodshop, and an exercise room."

"I was very impressed with The Ashford on Broad. I was welcomed well, and the person who showed me through was very kind and answered all my questions. The place looked lovely. I've been to some other ones, and this was more reasonably priced. I saw people in the gathering areas, and they had a very nice events calendar. The rooms were very nice, too."

"This facility is a really wonderful place for your loved one! They have a locked memory care next door as well as Assisted Living and Independent living in their main building. Staff is always friendly and truly care about their patients. Suzi in activities always has lots of fun things going on for the residents including many different musicians who come in the building for entertainment during the week. I have been impressed with all that they have to offer and they have even begun recent updates to the building which are turning out beautiful. "

"At Kensington Place Retirement Community, they have a therapy room and a gym; the laundry room is free. The rooms are very, very nice. Their dining area is nice and open. "

"I moved into Alpine House Of Columbus, it's very nice and the staff is very good. The rooms are very spacious, we do bingo, play charades, we have a gym, and we go outside and sit. They have benches out there, it's very nice and well-maintained. The food is very good. The other residents are very nice, I haven't met anybody that was rude. It's very good value for money."

"I was really impressed with the staff at Brookdale although my friend passed away a few weeks ago. They went out of their way. I would highly recommend them. They were very kind, very personal with him, and very concerned with the patient. I was very pleased. "

"My wife goes to The Inn at Olentangy every week, and we are more familiar with that. The rooms were very nice, and they have sensors in their rooms so that if they go to the bathroom, they know. The food was very good. They have bingo, games, and crafts for their activities. "

"I went to Wexner Heritage Village - Creekside at the Village. It was a very nice visit, and the lady that showed us around was very courteous, friendly, and very professional. She gave us all the details and all the information. She didn't leave anything out of the questions that we would ask. She answered pretty much all our questions before we needed to ask any, and we walked away with everything we needed to go on as far as making a decision and moving forward if that would have been our location. They showed us a couple of different rooms, like a studio room versus a two-bedroom room. And they had quite a few stories, I think it's three or four stories high. It was an older facility, but it was well-kept and well-maintained. It had a lot of positive amenities as well."

"I toured The Bristol, and I loved it. The room is beautiful, very spacious, and very nice. They have a restaurant-type dining area."

"I recently transferred a parent to the Inn at Fairfield Village. Our family has had extensive knowledge of assisted living facilities as our parents have resided in this type of facility for several years. I cannot say enough about the lengths the staff have gone to in an effort to make our parent feel at home. The meals truly taste homemade and the choices for menu selections seems to cater to the tastes of our parents' generation. It is so important to me that staff are responsive to my parent's needs and I am seeing this consistently. Excellent communication with building management have made this transition smoother than I ever expected. "
