"The rooms are spacious. The food is great. The beautiful gals were great. The staff on the floor was excellent. The rehab peps were great. I am not good with names, but the Phillapinto gal was great. "

"My father gets very good care at Focused Care at Orange. The place is very clean. For every occasion that comes up, it's decorated well to keep everyone's morale up and make it look very festive. He does not particularly care for the food though, but as far as the portions and everything, it looks good to me. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. The nurses are excellent. Any time I have a concern and bring it up to them, they react to it immediately."

"I have had 2 family members stay at this facility. My grandmother was only there for less than a month due to her rectal cancer. She was checked in efficiently and since her stay was under a month the facility didn't end up charging her anything for her stay. She was treated very well and hospice took great care of her in the end. My grandfather had a much longer visit. I would say his care was mediocre. He was left in a wheelchair a lot. His care are the end was better as hospice got involved. The staff was always friendly but there was a lot of turnaround. You never really could get to know the people that were taking care of your loved ones. "

"Vidor Health and Rehabilitation Center was my first choice and I thought my mom would go there, but they didn't have any opening in their Alzheimer's unit. Their staff seemed to be very nice. The director I talked to named Sylvia, she called me a couple of days ago to check on my mom and she said that although my mom was not going to their facility, if I had any question and if there's anything she could help us with, I could call her. They were very blessed to have someone like her working there. "

"Beaumont Nursing and Rehabilitation was very good. The staff was very friendly, and we got all we needed there. They told us about the incidents they had, and all of them were minor. They had just repainted the whole facility, so it was all nice and fresh. They have physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy in-house. They cook their food in-house. You can also visit there and order a plate ahead of time for you to eat with family members. The rooms were nice, and it's a smaller nursing home. It was very nice, and everything was well kept. I didn't see anything that wasn't up-to-date. They don't have a place for the residents to go outside. I saw some of them sort of sitting out front, but they don't have a garden area for people to go out to. Everything was nice and clean though. The staff was also very personable."

"My brother has been in the College Street Health Care Center for three weeks now. They are just coming back into function. They are under staffed, but they are working on getting more. The lady was telling me the last time I was there that there are three CNAs, and one just started and is currently on training. The rooms are not full though. He is in a two-person room, but he has no one in there with him. His medicine was not given to him on time, but there is nothing major that has really gone on. It's just that they're understaffed for now. They have rehabilitation services, laundry services, a barber on staff, and I have seen them one time playing dominoes in the dining room. The people that work there are very nice too. We laughed and talked to each other. When you come in, they check your temperature and give you a mask. They prefer the mask that they have. He was in quarantine at first, so in quarantine they made us wear masks, a shield, and a PPE. They also have cameras setup to see everything. He just got transferred to his room, and he's been there for about two or three days now. It's an older facility, so it's not upscale. They are talking about redoing it later on."

"I chose Clairmont Beaumont because it had a secured all women Alzheimer's unit. I had taken a tour and I was very impressed. It was a large place. The staff was pleasant and all of the residents seemed to be very content. They had an on-staff physician and psychiatrist so they could monitor her behavior. They had a separate activity room and they had a schedule for the activities. They had a day room where they do craft. I am very pleased and my mom would move in tomorrow. "

"I was very pleased with HealthSouth. They did everything they said they would do, and we didn’t have any issues at all. The staff was really friendly and helpful. They have a family room with a big TV. "

"It took the agency about two weeks to find a good and affordable caregiver for me. Everything is good. She does an excellent job and went all across the board! She is a good match for me and I am comfortable with her. She is amazing and wonderful. Very good service overall! It's very much worth the value that I am paying for. Beaumont Health is a good agency to look for caregivers. They did a great job in providing a good match for what I need. Anytime I would need their service, I would call them again. "

"I was admitted here in January after going in severe respiratory distress at home and I had a major stroke in the hospital. I was totally dependent. I couldn't even lift my head. With their love, support, and help I am now up in a wheelchair and using a walker in my room. I rule the place vooming down the hallways in my wheelchair. Love to go to activities and checking out the birds and fish. Always saying hello to the staff. I know everyone and they know me. They pulled me out of the jaws of death and I really appreciate them."

" Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation provided me with physical and occupational therapy for a period of 3 weeks in 2013. The therapy departments have very professional and qualified therapist that work one on one with each patient to assist them to receive the best recovery possible. The staff at Jefferson Nursing was very caring to myself and my family and the care I received was excellent. I would recommend this facility to those who are in need of short or long term care. "

"My mom is currently in Village Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for rehab. It's always clean and smells all right. It's roomy. There's a bed, two chairs, and a lounge chair. They've got a calendar posted here with lots of activities. They have bingo, ping pong, domino, monopoly, and lots of different games. The staff have been great. All of them are friendly, helpful, and attentive. All the places we looked at were pretty expensive, so I guess we're getting our value here."
