My brother has been in the College Street Health Care Center for three weeks now. They are just coming back into function. They are under staffed, but they are working on getting more. The lady was telling me the last time I was there that there are three CNAs, and one just started and is currently on training. The rooms are not full though. He is in a two-person room, but he has no one in there with him. His medicine was not given to him on time, but there is nothing major that has really gone on. It's just that they're understaffed for now. They have rehabilitation services, laundry services, a barber on staff, and I have seen them one time playing dominoes in the dining room. The people that work there are very nice too. We laughed and talked to each other. When you come in, they check your temperature and give you a mask. They prefer the mask that they have. He was in quarantine at first, so in quarantine they made us wear masks, a shield, and a PPE. They also have cameras setup to see everything. He just got transferred to his room, and he's been there for about two or three days now. It's an older facility, so it's not upscale. They are talking about redoing it later on.
