"I was able to visit ManorCare Health Services-Towson, and it was very good. I moved my grandfather to this facility, and they took very good care of him. Kudos to the nursing staff and the special services. "

"I visited Good Samaritan Nursing Center. They were nice. The staff was nice and informative. They possibly have openings later on the spring, and I would use that facility. They’re in old homes -- which I like -- and it would make my dad feel like he is home. The rooms were very clean and very spacious. They’re big actually, which is something I wasn’t expecting. "

"My mom is in rehab right now. She is at Good Samaritan (MedStar Good Samaritan). It is very good. I have no complaints with the place. It is a nursing home/rehab facility. Everything that they did was fine. My mother is being well taken care of. The therapy is great. I have no complaints about it. I highly recommend them. "

"I've been at FutureCare Coldspring for over two years. My experience has been fair. I like developing a relationship with the nurses and aids, which I've done with most. It makes it a much more comfortable living environment. I love the church services. The therapy is helpful, but I'm 89 so its in gods hands. The care and staff are good here though."

"My grandmother use to live in this Facility and it was the greatest investment she ever made. She was very independent however when my grandfather died the house began to be too much to keep up with so she moved here. It was an older person's home, assisted living and full nursing home. There were many activates for the residents to do as well as chefs on duty almost 24/7. Residents had a few different apartments to choose from such as 1 room or 2 rooms, it was an 18-story building that was always kept immaculate. Within the past 2 years they had put on a very large extension that had a large pool and a rooftop putting range. My grandmother passed away a year ago however she received the best care and had great experiences at this facility. It was a pricey place to live however the care was second to none and I know there are some very rough nursing facilities out there. "

"My mother-in-law stayed in Franklin Woods for rehab. It was a lot better than some of the other ones. The staff members were nice. My mother-in-law loved the food. They had plenty of activities going on, so she certainly could have gotten involved in them. I would have thought that they would push her to do more activities than she did because most of the time, she didn't do a lot. They had sing-a-longs, bingo, and musicians playing guitar. Her room was double occupancy, but they kept it clean."

"My good friend and neighborhood had knee replacement surgery and stayed as a patient at Manor Care during her rehabilitation. During her stay she had great care and support. Their rehabilitation therapists were able to help her work on walking after her surgery and she was really successful. They also taught her about caring for her knees and how to walk without damaging herself. While not a permanent residential facility, it does offer some long term care as well as rehabilitation services. My friend had a nice, large room with ample room for movement. The staff were very courteous and friendly. They took very good care of my friend and were often response for her needs. During one visit the staff even brought up a dinner for me while I visited her. If there is a downside to the facility, parking is a premium and sometimes it can be difficult to find a parking space. However, the facility itself is very well run and open to guests. I would definitely recommend it for anyone need rehabilitation care. "

"There’s one staff member there, I actually don’t know her exact job title, but she is incredible. Tami. So knowledgeable, so helpful. Took time to briefly explain the facility and everything offered. We were just visiting to see the place before my mother is placed somewhere. I am so glad that Tami was in the lobby when I came in. Perfect person to run into. I could also tell that residents and staff alike all knew and liked her. They all said hi as they walked by and Tami took the time to actually bend down and have a conversation with a resident in a wheel chair. I obviously don’t like the idea of my mother having to go to assisted living but this one feels great. I hope the rest of the staff are as personable and welcoming as Tami."

"My Mom was in Lorien for rehabilitation services. The staff and faculty there treated her like gold. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. "

"I like the surroundings at Glen Meadows, but again very expensive. It’s a very old community, but it would be perfect for where my children live. You have to go outside to where the restaurant would be, which I don’t like. It is an open land -- a lot of beautiful trees, lot of acreage, beautiful view to look at. You have an individual floor plan. It is an old building, they do change things if you want things changed. The view is really beautiful, and from what I can gather from talking to people I know, you buy your place, but then you have that monthly fee, and it is very high. For scenery and for locality, I love the Glen Meadows. I have friends who moved there, and they seemed to be pleased with everything. People that I know are happy with it. "

"We've been very pleased with how things have gone with Presbyterian Home of Maryland so far! It's a beautiful community, and the staff are all incredibly friendly and caring. In particular the Director of Nursing and the Marketing Director, were both incredibly helpful and always available. The staff here do a great job working with Alzheimer's and dementia patients, and they've really helped my loved one do a complete 180. "

"There is a new administrator at this community as of April 2022 who is working hard to change things and implement processes that will improve the quality of life for residents. The front desk receptionists, admissions and department heads are very caring and concerned for their residents, but like many nursing homes during COVID, there is a lot of turnover in the nursing staff. Activities tries hard to raise the spirits of residents. Rehab services are excellent quality, and a lot of new equipment was brought into the building for this purpose. I highly recommend this facility if you want your loved one to come for rehab, cardiac care or dialysis. Food does need to be improved, they are aware of this. "

"I would first like to start out by saying how wonderful autumn lake at homewood is. The g.n.a's are absolutely awesome for the most part. The nurses are great. They do everything they can to make sure you get your medicine on time. The activities department is great. Admissions are wonderful. And I must say I have never been to a place where the administer who is mr.justin is so hands on and is so caring. He has an open door policy and I know this cause I have been to his office a many of times. So much to where he may change that policy. Lol. But for fear he is a great person who really cares about his patients. If I ever come back I hope it's here. And to my mom Mrs nakita thank you very much for everything you have done. You are truly the greatest and I thank you from the bottom of my heart."

"My mom stayed in Autumn Lake Healthcare at Long Green, and this was much nicer. The biggest issue that they had was their call system when buzzing for help. That was a big issue when trying to get somebody staffed, and they were also running short of staff. The staff, food, and therapy were good. The building was very nice, and the parking was good. You had to be buzzed in, and there was always someone at the door to let you in. The facility was always clean when we were there. They had activities, but my mom didn't want to participate. I didn't see them post it. They have a nice community room. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and if I had an issue, concern, or complaint, I could take it to the heads, and they would address it. Then, they will follow up to make sure things have gotten better."
