I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

The staff spend more time hating on each other than they do caring for the residents. A woman was in tears because she asked for someone to take her to the bathroom just after midnight and ten hours later she still had not been cleaned up or taken to the bathroom. She had soiled herself and was crying for someone to help her. The room smelled horrible and no one was doing anything about it even after a complaint was made. The conditions there are deplorable.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My grandmother was a shorterm resident when in fact she received great attentive care the first 3weeks. Very clean appearance and food was okay. They were Very short staffed at times! two nurse techs stood out Latasha and Nina were compassionate and clean about their jobs even when tired for working a double. The RN’s on shift duty along with social work weren’t as caring or attentive. I Had to ask the same questions daily while my grandmothers health diminished painfully before my eyes. And on top of it all received a $4k bill for extra days stayed when it was a mistake on their part that we weren’t to be discharged until the scheduled radiology tests were done!

I am/was a resident of this facility

I've been in this building almost 5 years. The staff has been good. Stacey the GNA does everything you need, she's just that type of person. She's here every morning and is very reliable, and Alisha, the nurse, works very hard. Ms. White is a great nurse too. Housekeeping does an excellent job. Ultimately, I want to be able to get out of the bed more, and I've been improving in therapy a lot, but I'm not quite where I want to be yet. For the most part I stay busy with crossword puzzles. I love Steven W, the head administrator, he is a very personable guy and gets things done for the residents here.

I think FutureCare Good Samaritan has a good staff here. The entire staff does good work, and my team is particularly good. My room is usually very very clean, and they really have given me good care throughout the past month that I've been here. I think what's been most beneficial is the occupational therapy. Because of the staff and care I've gotten, I would recommend Good Sam to those in search of a place like this.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I've only been living in this center for about 3 weeks, but the staff has been very very nice throughout my stay. I've really enjoyed the food, which is usually not so great at places like this. The chicken in particular is great here. Housekeeping is very good and they're very caring. They keep the rooms spotless and do whatever they can to help you out. When I first got here I couldn’t walk, and now I am able to, to some capacity, so my improvements are amazing. I would recommend completely. This place gets 5 stars in my opinion.

I am/was a resident of this facility

For me, the staff has been fine, I really like mostly all of them. Every time I ask for something from the nurses or aids, they always do it quickly. I do enjoy the activities now, especially the Sunday church services. The food is pretty good, I like hot dogs and pork and beans, and they make a pretty good variety of choices for the residents. One thing that I think makes this facility stand out compared to others is how clean it's kept. When I first got here I was unable to get up from my wheelchair, but the physical therapy has been extremely helpful, and now I am able to use just a walker. I would recommend considering Good Samaritan, because it really is pretty good. The staff is nice, and they really do it all well here.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I have spent the past 10 years at FutureCare Good Sam. Most of the people here are absolutely wonderful, and I enjoy most of the food they prepare for us. I feel that the care I've gotten over the past years has been good and has helped me. I love participating in the live music, and I especially like the exercise activities offered in the morning. I would certainly recommend this location, as my time here has been pleasant and beneficial.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mom was in Good Samaritan for six weeks, and we had a good experience there. The staff was outstanding, the food was warm, and she even went to the dining room a couple of times. They would make her leave her room, they have classes, and church three times a week.

I visited this facility

I visited Good Samaritan Nursing Center. They were nice. The staff was nice and informative. They possibly have openings later on the spring, and I would use that facility. They’re in old homes -- which I like -- and it would make my dad feel like he is home. The rooms were very clean and very spacious. They’re big actually, which is something I wasn’t expecting.

My mother-in-law was in Good Samaritan, and they did wonderful physical therapy. They also had bingo there. The staff was very knowledgeable.
