"I visited Covenant Place of Lenexa, and it’s a nice place in terms of parking as they have underground parking for the residents. The lady took the time to tell me all about the facility. We also did walk around the place, and I liked it very much. This also would have been a very ideal place for my mother. They have a little bit more continuing type of care in place. Their dining room was nice, but I wasn’t able to eat there. They have a pool. This felt like a little more nursing-home like to me, but it wasn’t a nursing home. "

They're close to the family of the residents, and let them know how they're doing. This place is very good. They feed them three times a day, give them showers, clothed them. It's a good facility. They both went to different activities that they had like bingo, their hair and nails done, and they give allowance for whatever they needed for what's not in the cafeteria. "

"We needed a place to move my mom quickly and my sister suggested Garden Terrace. The staff were friendly to everyone. The private room she was in seemed decent. Mom seemed highly pleased but I think she needed to be with people who have higher cognitive function. They had arts, social gatherings complete with music, and even a greenhouse for gardening. The company and activities made her happy. "

"There have been many positive changes that are taking place in this facility. I know that this facility had some issues in the past, but over the years that I have been coming here, I can truly state that there are good changes that are occuring. "At the request of a relative who was considering Aberdeen Village, my sister and I dropped in to see the facility. My first impression was that this had to be one of the nicest facilities I had ever visited. The staff member who met us was very graciously showed us around even though we did not have an appointment. Every area, rooms, common areas, dining room, pool were clean and beautifully decorated. There were many resident activities which seemed would fit everyones tastes. As we were getting into our car in the parking lot a current residents relative parked next to us and expressed how happy her mother was living at Aberdeen Village. To me, the was the best recommendation of all! I felt comfortable that this facility is part of a well established network of care facilites with a good reputation. "
