"I had my grandmother in this facility for less than a month. I overall cannot complain about the care she recieved. Their rehab department was fantastic and helpful, they were even willing to show me excerises and streches i could do with her while i visited which was great. The nurses were rushed when speaking or seemed like they had other things on their mind but they are handling so many other patients care as well. I'm just glad i was able to find a place that wasnt so bad compared to all the other horror stories i have read. "

"My mom went to Earlwood after she went to the hospital. They were very good but they're more of a full pledge nursing home. It was very nice but it was going to be very expensive once her Medicare runs out. "

"My brother needs injectable insulin, and so he had to be in a facility like Driftwood Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. They take care of him, and they keep him clean and what have you. I'm content with him being right there right now because he's been there for about a year now. The staff is familiar with him. Finally, I found a place where they can deal with him because he has dementia. As far as what his needs are, they keep me up-to-date on it. It's a clean facility. The staff is very professional. As far as the care of the residents, they are right there, and they're on point as far as all the needs of the patients that are there. They have a little gym up in the front. My brother gets physical therapy three days a week. It's a convalescent home, so there are three people in the room. The place is not really set up for long-term stay, but some residents can be long-term. They have events during the week, but it's not set up like a lot of the private facilities that I was in. It's not a brand new building. They've been there a while, but it's well-kept. The floors are clean. They're very conscientious about everything because they've been there for a while. They know their job. Any little changes at all, they'll notify the doctor, and then the doctor will make a decision as far as whether to change your medication or have you evaluated at the hospital, and then they'll bring you right back. They keep me on top of any type of medication change or prescription change that the doctor would make, anything. They'll call me up and let me know. I think it's a fair value for what they offer."

"Torrance Care Center West was nice, and there was always someone around assisting a patient. It was nice there and wasn't too bad. The dining room was nice, and they were good in coming to get my grandmother and bringing her to be social. It had no stinky smell. "

"Harbor Care Center is a long or short term facility that provides skilled nursing to the patient. The level of patient care is excellent. The patients have always appeared clean, comfortable, and very well taken care of. The staff always presents a helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly attitude. The facility has the highest standard of cleanliness which is immediately noticeable. "

"Heritage Rehabilitation Center was very neat and clean and well taken care of, and the people seemed happy. The staff seemed to be particularly caring and concerned with the residents, and they provided quite a lot of special attention. The rooms were average sized, and they had a pretty large outside patio area. The activity calendar seemed full, and they seemed to have things going on quite a bit of the time. "

"Vermont Care Center was very nice, very clean, and organized. The food was very good. The nurses and the employees were very professional, compassionate, and caring. They had activities, but unfortunately, my dad had dementia, so he would not participate. He was well-taken care of. He needed peace, and they would give him peace, and it was very good. I think he was the happier than in any of the nursing homes that he was in before. I have recommended them to other people. "

"Dad fell out of bed and broke his hip. He had a partial hip replacement and he was placed on a rehab facility in Arizona before we put him in Sunnyside Nursing for a couple of weeks now. So far so good. I don't have a problem. It is a large facility. They're licensed to have 299 people and they offer both long-term and short-term care. Dad has a stage 3 bed sore and they're treating it. I had a meeting with the social worker and the nurse and they told me he's progressing and he's walking. He's 95 years old, so it's a slow process. And I have no complaint really. They're really on top of their stuff. The place doesn't smell, it's very clean, and the staff is very friendly. He's been there for a couple of weeks now. Everything is all good. "

"My father is a patient, all in all I am very pleased with the staff, the physical rehab team is great. My only complaint is there does not appear to be adequate dietary supervision. My father is a diabetic controlled with diet but we keep finding inappropriate food on his meal trays cookies, jello, high empty carbs and his blood sugar is not being monitored. If you have dietary needs this may not be the place for you. "

"Clear View was where my husband was. It’s been owned by a family for about a hundred years. The rooms were very nice. It was very clean, and the nursing there was very nice. The staff was very nice. They did physical therapy for him. They don’t have the nursing, the medications, and all of the injections to take care of him. It was very nice, except they couldn’t accept us. "
