They accommodate whatever she needs. Every day they get her dressed, and they go into the activities room most of the day. They make sure that she gets dressed every day. "

"My father is a patient, all in all I am very pleased with the staff, the physical rehab team is great. My only complaint is there does not appear to be adequate dietary supervision. My father is a diabetic controlled with diet but we keep finding inappropriate food on his meal trays cookies, jello, high empty carbs and his blood sugar is not being monitored. If you have dietary needs this may not be the place for you. "

"This facility was located in Torrance, CA. It was close to our home so my family decided that she stay here. One of our family members had cancer so we were unable to provide a healthy living for our grandma. I don't know if she enjoyed living there because she was so good at hiding her emotions. I felt bad for her because she didn't speak English so it was hard for her to communicate her emotions to the nurses and fellow residents. The nurses and employees at Vermont Care Center were very kind and affable. "

"I like Beachside Post Acute. There are a lot of activities. They all spent a lot of time with the residents in the lunchroom singing and doing puzzles. The therapy is really good. They take them for walks and all the stuff, and the place is really clean. That is one of the most important things. My stepmom prefers to be in a room by herself, but she is with somebody else. In a way, I like it because she has somebody right there. They have a place where they get together, like a little hall, and that's just really nice. They play music and they have a garden in which they take them in a wheelchair to walk outside. It's not that big. It's kind of a small place. The food is really nice and really good. I've tasted it. Most of the ladies that are there are nice. There are Filipinos, African Americans, and Latinos. As soon as you call, they call you back. So, they have good staff."

"Harbor Care Center is a long or short term facility that provides skilled nursing to the patient. The level of patient care is excellent. The patients have always appeared clean, comfortable, and very well taken care of. The staff always presents a helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly attitude. The facility has the highest standard of cleanliness which is immediately noticeable. "

"My mother age 86 fell and broke her leg. She went to Little Company of Mary, where a rod was put in her leg. Little company of Mary gave me a list of 10 Nursing Rehab Centers for my mother to transaction to. I checked out all 10 locations and chose Heritage. I am so glad I chose Heritage. The employees make this place a good nursing home. I would visit my mother about 4 times a week. I estimate a 1/3 of the time I entered mom's room. Some employee was in the room helping her. Mom already had a mild case of dementia and wasn't always the easiest person to deal with. All nurses and caregivers helped her with compassion. One nurse assistant took the time to braid my moms hair so she would look nice. Also if i had a request for my mom. It was taken care of within 3 minutes. The rehab people were great too. The food is good. There were plenty of activities to keep her occupied. There's even a lady whose sole job is to make sure everyone is happy and encourages them to go to activities. Even Elvis showed up to sing to the elderly. "

"Please ONLY send your family member here if you do NOT need INTENSIVE help. The staff is warm and friendly to residents BUT they are VERY unprepared for seriouse illness. They are clean and organized, and residents seem content..but this is not someplace I would send a loved one that I cared for. Seems they give attention to those whose families do not. "

"Torrance Care Center West was nice, and there was always someone around assisting a patient. It was nice there and wasn't too bad. The dining room was nice, and they were good in coming to get my grandmother and bringing her to be social. It had no stinky smell. "

"Upon my arrival, i notice the assisting living was very beautiful, and clean. They also had valet parking which i really loved. In the lobby the receptionist was very nice, spoke english and spanish. They offered us coffee and cookies, And the table was very clean. Rite when i walked in i knew i was going to love the place, because everyone was very friendly, very clean, and nicley decorated. The rooms are very spacious and have their own personal restroom. They have a beatiful yard for the people to sit. They also have a beautiful dinning room for the residents where they are allowed to eat with family memebers. They also haveing call lights in thier room just in case they need anything, and have a nurse station in every corner. I loved this assissting living and would defintley recommend it to anyone. It has easy access to the freeway and next to a big hospital just in case of an emergency. "
