"Canyon oaks is far beyond our expectations of a nursing facility. Nursing staff is exceptionally caring and professional. Evening staff , ( Neelam, Angie, Blanca are few of them) with whom I had daily contacts when my mother was there , were always helpful to my mother and attend to her needs all the time. The therapy staff was wonderful . Charise and Jackie are very helpful and discussed various options. Dr Xu and Dr Makhijani are caring and very professional physicians It was like visiting the family when i visited my mom. Now she is not there and I miss the Canyon Oaks family. Having personnel experience, I would recommend Canyon Oaks to my patients and to any one who need rehab. and nursing care. "

"My friend is in Royal Congregate Living. I've only been there once or twice. From the other nursing homes that I've been to, I thought it was very nice. It was fairly clean. The staff was very nice, and they've always been very nice to me. She's in a shared room. One of her complaints is that they are not giving her any physical therapy, although she's very limited. I know in the beginning, they tried to get her into a wheelchair and stuff, but she's very limited. Even when she went in, she couldn't bend her knees. She had spinal cord damage, and they were limited in what they could work with. They didn't have very much of a courtyard. They just had one little room where there was a TV. It was not the best."

"I like this facility is because we can coming for visit anytime of the day and we can bring in foods for our relative and feed them. The staffs are very friendly and nice. I saw them many times that they help the elders seem like their own family member. There was one time i witnessed they were helping my grandma doing #2 and #1. They patiently clean up the hold process which make us feel appreciated and confident for our grandma to stay. We have asked our grandma a lot if there were ever happened that any elderly abusive in the facility and she responded "NO". That's the reason why we never transfer our grandma to another facility. Most of the time we stopped by we saw the staffs went around and do the clean up. The only thing we would like the facility to do is to remodel the inside a little bit because it looks kinda old and a little smell. "

"My sister is in Magnolia Gardens. They are really good with her. They are starting to get her walking. She is improving. Her room is pretty nice. They clean it every day. They have plenty of parking spaces. They are a long way from the shopping place. They have a nice craft room."

"I thought Jewish Home (Grancell Village) was the best one my husband had ever been in. We were not Jewish, but it was one of the best. The care there was unbelievable. They had entertainment and they had excellent food. Most of them were regular food, but they were very good. The whole thing was great. You could go outside. They had a beautiful garden area, you could sit on one of the tables, and they had several picnic tables there. They actually had a store for the visitors to be able to buy sandwiches or something for themselves. "

"The rehab staff at The Center at Park West was nice. They seemed to offer a lot of rehab like if they needed to walk with a walker or anything like that until they got to where they can walk on their own or walk to where they got out or can leave. They would offer that. They would work with them on speech. My husband had strokes and he was in there. Everything was really good except for one-night nurse who didn't care about anybody. All she wanted was just to sleep and that was it. Other than that, it was good, all except for that lady. Mostly the day staff seemed caring. They tried to make sure that my husband would walk to the restroom because he wanted to try to do it himself. It was average. The food was decent at the time. They had activities if they weren't doing any kind of therapy for them that they needed. They tried to play a game with certain groups."

"My mother is at the Casitas Care Center, it's a decent place, and she's being taken care of pretty well. She's currently being rehabbed as much as they can. They have activities and things there for her to do, and she interacts with the staff and other people there. They even did a breakfast thing this morning. The staff members have all been friendly and helpful. Anytime I've ever gone up to ask for anything, they've done it right on the spot. I feel good about them; they've done a nice job. Overall, I'm satisfied with the service we have gotten from them."

"My mom moved into the Los Angeles Jewish Home for the Aging-Eisenberg Village. They have doctors and nurses. They put each person according to their health or mental health, if they have dementia or anything like that. They have a lot of activities. They have hair salons and nail shops. The food is good. They have a church and a temple for all other religions. They have services, and they have music. We tasted the food once because they invited us before she went in, and it was good. My mother is 92 years old, so she's on a special diet, and they take care of her according to her diet. The facility is very clean. They have games, dances, and exercise. It's worth it, and they accept government subsidies like Medicare."

"My cousin is currently at Rinaldi Convalescent Hospital for a short-term rehabilitation after being discharged and diagnosed with autoimmune disease in January 2026. We were referred to Rinaldi Convalescent Hospital by the hospital and her medical insurance. We were not sure of how good and safe this facility was, but after walking in and seeing the soothing colors and the beautiful pictures and seeing the cleaning maintenance staff in several areas I felt a calmness. As I continue to walk thought the halls, I saw the patient's calm and happy faces. Their CNAs and RNs are very compassionate they treat their patients with loving care as if they are family. Medication is given on a timely basis, they responsive to the patient's calls, they handle their work with professionalism. My cousin is on special food since he cannot swallow easily, they do all the preparation. I would highly recommend Rinaldi Convalescent Hospital to any family looking for a short-term facility with your loving family member."

"The staff here were so friendly. My mom was here for almost a month for rehab and she’s back home doing well. No complaints, food was pretty good it’s clean there, was a little loud at night….but overall I’d definitely recommend you go here for therapy."

"The staff at Granada Hills Care Center was very kind, helpful, and attentive. The building was very antiquated though and it needs to be remodeled and redone. My aunt did make progress there with her physical therapy. She was walking at the time. She had hip surgery and the rehabilitation was coming along beautifully. Then something happened there and her hip got dislocated, so she had to go back to the hospital and have another surgery and then I didn't take her back there. They had a beautiful Easter celebration where a church came in and the church sponsored a nice service for the residents. Then they had an Easter egg hunt for the kids. They do a lot of activities there. It was very nice. The garden area was beautiful. The outside was very nice, but the inside needs to be completely redone. It was an old hospital. My aunt ate her food, and she liked it. I read reviews and I was told before I started to go see places, that Granada Hills was one of the better facilities. The food was great, and the activities were amazing. The physical therapy was outstanding."

"Last Sunday was a perfect example of why we recommend Tarzana Health and Rehabilitation. Our sister/sister-in-law needed to get into her mobilized wheel chair. I called, was transferred to Marie and within 5 minutes Theresa oversaw this. Over the time our sister/ sister-in-law has been there, the list of people to thank includes people in the Business office, Social Services, Dietary, Nursing, PT, Activities and Maintenance. Special thanks (but not limited to) Mary, Doris, Faye, Marie, Racquel, Theresa, Penny, Ahdas, Lesley, Normina, Juanita, Alfonso, Marco and the extended staff of doctors and nurses.
