My husband is a resident since May 11, 2021. I have been trying to reach him to see how he is doing, but every time I call the reception will transfer the call and it just rings and no one every pick up. I find this very appalling that I cannot talk too or hear my love one voice. This matter should be addressed as soon as possible.

My mother is currently a resident for skilled rehab following a bad fall and consequent surgery. Currently with the pandemic, communication is minimal to none and it is difficult to get any clear information from any staff. I can not speak to how things look inside or if they even have amenities currently with the visiting restricted. My main complaint is that my mother just tested positive for COVID-19 and it appears they currently have several other new cases with no communication to the family as to how this has spread.

Canyon oaks is far beyond our expectations of a nursing facility. Nursing staff is exceptionally caring and professional. Evening staff , ( Neelam, Angie, Blanca are few of them) with whom I had daily contacts when my mother was there , were always helpful to my mother and attend to her needs all the time. The therapy staff was wonderful . Charise and Jackie are very helpful and discussed various options. Dr Xu and Dr Makhijani are caring and very professional physicians It was like visiting the family when i visited my mom. Now she is not there and I miss the Canyon Oaks family. Having personnel experience, I would recommend Canyon Oaks to my patients and to any one who need rehab. and nursing care.

My wife is in Canyon Oaks. The staff is very good. The room is very nice. They are two in a room. There is one bathroom for adjoining rooms, so there are four people using the same bathroom. They have activities. She does not do so much of it, but they have bingo and black jack, and they have an outside courtyard you can go.
