My friend is in Royal Congregate Living. I've only been there once or twice. From the other nursing homes that I've been to, I thought it was very nice. It was fairly clean. The staff was very nice, and they've always been very nice to me. She's in a shared room. One of her complaints is that they are not giving her any physical therapy, although she's very limited. I know in the beginning, they tried to get her into a wheelchair and stuff, but she's very limited. Even when she went in, she couldn't bend her knees. She had spinal cord damage, and they were limited in what they could work with. They didn't have very much of a courtyard. They just had one little room where there was a TV. It was not the best.
