"I highly recommend them. They were very welcoming and very hospitable. They had excellent amenities, excellent food, and nice rooms. I saw residents that were playing board games and they also had an entertainment night that they were telling us about on Thursday nights where they have live music and stuff. The staff was excellent and very patient."

"Royal Palms was an amazing community with very nice people. The activities were pretty good, according to the patients. The staff seemed to be very attentive to what they needed and looked like they were very well taken care of. It seemed like a well-kept community. They kept up the rooms very well. The people seemed to be having a great time with the staff."

"Twin Palms was excellent. It was very clean and the staff was good as far as I could see. The owner was very accommodating, very kind, and very knowledgeable. This was one of the top communities on my list. I even have referred it to other people. It's a board and care; they have like five or six people. It's very nice and with a beautiful backyard for a barbecue. Everything looked like it was a nice place to live."

"We visited here. It’s very respectful and provides care and safety to the residents. We like the way it does not look at all like a facility or an institution or a hospital; it looks more like a hotel or a residence. We like the fact that they assign 2 or 3 different caregivers to the person so that they can get to know them, not just whatever caregiver happens to be on duty that day. We like the way the dining room is more like a restaurant; it’s not like a cafeteria or a dining room. We like the way the resident can choose from a menu, and food is served by a server. "

"My mom moved into Canyon Trails at Topanga Senior Living. I love that they accepted and worked with the Master Care program. The sales and marketing person was fantastic. Josh was amazing. The facilities were very, very close to where I live. The rooms were much more spacious than mom had had at her skilled nursing facility, more modern, and everything seemed well cared for. As soon as I walked in, I saw residents everywhere, so they weren't just sitting in their rooms. They were active in the activities outside, in the dining room, and there was a lot of interaction, which I liked. My mom seems to enjoy the food."

"I toured Porter Ranch Garden for my father. It was okay but the location seemed kind of run down. They seemed clean, but it was a pretty beaten-up house. They seemed engaging and the person that gave me the tour was very informative. The rooms were okay and pretty basic. They weren't great and the cost was higher than what I said we could afford. She told me four thousand and that was a no. I saw the room and the living space area in the backyard. The living room was okay. In the backyard, there was a patio, and it was kind of rundown. The cost seemed high for the place and needed an upgrade or of keeping things up to date."

"Gardens at Northridge was good. It was very clean. There's a dining area and a room for viewing movies. I was very impressed with the rooms. The staff gave me a tour of the one-bedroom and then the studio. They were very good and very nice. The people were also very nice and very friendly. They even gave me a plate of cookies and they were absolutely delicious. The lady didn't show me the laundry room, though."

"Home Care of West Hills, LLC #2 was close to where I live and that is good. What I liked about it was that it had just about everything that my wife would need. They're very friendly and they seem to know enough about taking care of old people. They were very nice and informative. They have a little porch in the backyard where they can go out and eat. They also play some games, like card games. There's no exercise or anything like that. Then they have a dining area (one inside and one outside). From what I saw, the facility looked very clean. One of the girls was with a mop and a bucket when I got there."
