"Ivy Park at Simi Valley was very nice. It was excellent. It's very, very good. The staff was excellent. They called everybody by name. It looked good. It was very nice and very well-kept. It was very friendly. The size and the layouts of the rooms were comparable to others. They were good. The dining area was very nice, too."

"My friend has moved into Ivy Park at Burbank. It was a great experience from the beginning. The parking was easy and accessible to the main lobby. When we got to the main lobby, a welcome sign welcomed us for the tour. We had a wonderful tour. It was very informative about just the general property. The property itself was clean and bright. What impressed me was that they were all well-groomed and pleasant, and they weren't pandering. You knew they were health care professionals that cared and tried to take an interest in the person. That's what meant a lot to me. So I was very impressed with that. The place itself was beautiful. The model we saw that became my friend's studio apartment was beautiful, too. The place was newly renovated. They have new appliances and new cabinets. Just cheerful and wonderful. I can't say enough about Ivy Park. I think their services are fine. My friend just came out of the hospital, but I know that she is getting all the services there at Ivy Park. She's getting her medications managed, she's getting great meals, and today, physical therapy was coming up. We met the activities director, and there are activities, but my friend is not able to participate at this time. But I know the activities are great."

"We toured Oakmont of Agoura Hills. The one who took us through was lovely, very enthusiastic, and couldn't have been more helpful. She showed us all the different types of rooms and showed us all the activities. Everyone seemed very engaged. It was just lovely. Their atrium is beautiful. They have activities all day long. You can participate in them or not. The rooms were quite large and really, really well done. We saw some that people had decorated. They were actually nicer than the ones I saw at the other community. These were lovely. They had a very nice dining room. I think there were two different dining rooms. Parking seemed fine to me. We just pulled in, and it was fine."

"Beverly Hills Carmel Retirement Hotel is a five star facility. Staying in this facility is like staying in a hotel. The staff members are cheerful, welcoming and full of energy. The facility is well decorated and clean. Loved ones are well taken care off. This facility is five out of five and I would hifgly recommend. "

"Belmont Village Hollywood Heights was lovely. The young lady who helped me was very kind and sweet. It was perfect. It couldn't have been anything better. She did a great job. They showed me all the facilities, the dining room, the patios, and the different floors."

"There are so many nice people here to talk to."

"I liked CityView, but it's very pricey, and there's no outdoor area. It's out in the city, so there are no grounds. It's nice and clean, but it's a little dark inside for me. They take the residents out, and they play bingo. The place was lovely, and the staff was very accommodating and very nice. They also showed me the memory care where you have to share a room with somebody."

"We were really happy with Terraza Court. I went to this facility, and I highly recommend it. It's nice. Even I would want that for myself, that's how much we love that facility. And I love the attention that was provided to us. I forgot the lady's name, but she attended to us on that day. They allowed us an opportunity to check the entire memory care floor. We were able to tour the dining area and the outdoors where they would walk the patients. It was very clean. No smell that the other facility had, so I know how clean it was, and the care being provided to the patients is really up to par. Even the restrooms for the vacant rooms that they had available were very clean, well-updated, and maintained. Even my mom was happy with Terraza Court."

"I had a great tour of Palm Court. The person who showed us the facilities was super empathetic and kind. She did a great job establishing rapport, getting to know us, learning a little bit more about what my grandma was looking for, and then positioning the best options for her. She was generally knowledgeable about that phase of life and what would be important and what to look for as far as touring properties. She was thorough and super helpful. The place was pretty clean. Parking was challenging. However, the staff explained that they were doing some renovation projects, and additional construction workers and things on site were taking up all of their spaces. It wasn't a typical thing, and it was just a circumstance at that time because of the project. As for appliances, they would allow you to bring in a microwave, but that's it. You can't have any open burners. However, they provide three meals a day, and the kitchen is open from 6 in the morning until 10 at night."

"Westmont Culver City is very nice and it's brand new. My mother has a one-bedroom, one-bath, and it's nice. I highly recommend it. The staff is great. They have a gym, chair aerobics for everybody, a movie theater, a restaurant, a courtyard, front and back entrances, private elevators, you have to use the key to get in, and front desk staff. She doesn't like the food that much."
