"We toured Oakmont of Agoura Hills. The one who took us through was lovely, very enthusiastic, and couldn't have been more helpful. She showed us all the different types of rooms and showed us all the activities. Everyone seemed very engaged. It was just lovely. Their atrium is beautiful. They have activities all day long. You can participate in them or not. The rooms were quite large and really, really well done. We saw some that people had decorated. They were actually nicer than the ones I saw at the other community. These were lovely. They had a very nice dining room. I think there were two different dining rooms. Parking seemed fine to me. We just pulled in, and it was fine."

"Beverly Hills Carmel Retirement Hotel is a five star facility. Staying in this facility is like staying in a hotel. The staff members are cheerful, welcoming and full of energy. The facility is well decorated and clean. Loved ones are well taken care off. This facility is five out of five and I would hifgly recommend. "

"Belmont Village Hollywood Heights was very nice. I was highly impressed. It's bright, friendly, and I just felt comfortable there. They don't have a set meal, you can have anything on the menu, and the dining room was beautiful. They have a lot of activities."

"My dad is a resident of Holiday Simi Hills and is very happy there. The whole staff is wonderful and could not be nicer and more friendly. He is treated so well. The residents are lovely and he’s met many friends. His room is perfect for him. He has a nice size living area with a small kitchenette and a separate bedroom/bathroom. The facility was recently renovated and looks beautiful! The grounds and the views are amazing! He enjoys taking walks outside on the beautiful walking path. They offer plenty of activities and entertainment. I was recently there to watch the Simi Hills Choir perform and they were terrific. My dad enjoys meeting with his friends and all the residents in the dining room for the three daily meals. They have a lot of laughs! We would both highly recommend Holiday Simi Hills."

"I liked CityView, but it's very pricey, and there's no outdoor area. It's out in the city, so there are no grounds. It's nice and clean, but it's a little dark inside for me. They take the residents out, and they play bingo. The place was lovely, and the staff was very accommodating and very nice. They also showed me the memory care where you have to share a room with somebody."

"Everything at Palm Court was excellent. The apartments were beautiful. They had a movie theater, a fitness room, arts and crafts room, and all kinds of activities, like a walking club and all kinds of other things. "

"Westmont Culver City is very nice and it's brand new. My mother has a one-bedroom, one-bath, and it's nice. I highly recommend it. The staff is great. They have a gym, chair aerobics for everybody, a movie theater, a restaurant, a courtyard, front and back entrances, private elevators, you have to use the key to get in, and front desk staff. She doesn't like the food that much."

"I toured Laurel Heights. It was very modern, clean, and very nice, but it's just too far. The size of the rooms was medium and could have been larger. I like the balcony in the independent living apartment. The kitchen was a full kitchen. They had a washer and dryer. The living room and the bedroom were medium-sized, but it's OK. It was like an apartment. They had a library, a dining room, and an exercise room. The coordinator who gave us the tour was very informative. They had a theater, too."

"I moved into Atria Hillcrest. I like that I can go down for the meals and not have to prepare them myself, although I'm not used to this kind of food and it's not always to my liking. The activities are really good. I do go out and I take my little dog out 3 times a day. The staff here is very good. They have a beauty salon on site and they have Farmer's Market coming in often enough. They have some good bands that come to play on the patio, which is very nice."
