The Ridge at Westlake Village was very tidy, nice, and new. I hardly saw any residents, and it seemed kind of empty. It has a beautiful deck on the top, but you're not looking out at anything very pretty. They're just buildings. It just seemed not personal at all. It was very nicely done, but that was it. The rooms were very nice, but the whole thing kind of felt a little cold. We didn't see much interaction with anybody, so you didn't get a real feel for it. The dining area looked nice. The whole thing was nice and brand new. They have a patio on the roof, and it is beautiful. However, there wasn't much ambiance. It was really well done. Parking was easy, and it was very nice, but it didn't have much feel to it. The staff was nice, but wasn't nearly as enthusiastic as the lady at the other place. I didn't try their food, but they gave us a box of probably the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had in my life.
