I had a family member at this nursing home and it was a wonderful experience I would like to thank the staff that did a great job with my Aunt. She was happy with the care. Thanks to the rehab team and the recreation department for making my aunts stay as comfortable as possible I would recommend this place to anyone that would ask me thanks again for your hard work.

If you love someone don't send them here - medical care is almost non existent - they knowningly have an incompetant nurse who doesn't give out proper medication and they stand by her. Sent my husband to the ER without him needing to go (he was a problem they wanted to get rid of) Understaffed. Not as clean as it could be. Food is a disgrace. Rooms are small, shared toilet (no shower), sheets are paper thin. The only plus is that the majority of the staff are friendly and try to be as helpful as they can under the circumstances.

I chose Rego Park because it's close to my home. It's a very nice facility. I love the staff, they're very friendly. They treat people very nice. I'm really happy that my husband is in there. As soon as we came in, they did everything to accommodate my husband as much as they could. He's happy and he said he wants to stay there.
