This is a great place, cant recommend enough. The activities are really interactive and enjoyable. the staff and residents are friendly. Just want to give a special mention to the nursing staff there care is unmatched, they always make time to answer all questions and keep me in the loop. If i could give 6 stars i definitely would.

My mother has been at Cliffside for almost two years. The nurses, aides, and entire staff go out of their way to see that residents are comfortable and content. My mother's social worker works hard to see that my mother is happy. Everyone is welcoming and friendly. The cleaning crew keeps the residence very clean. The rooms are spacious, and the halls are decorated nicely. Cliffside offers varied activities such as Tai Chi, music, bingo, and other games. There are doctors who check on patients, and any questions are quickly and repectfully addressed. I have peace of mind with my mother at Cliffside.

If you can go anywhere else run there quickly. Understaffed, dirty, falling apart, old furniture, cheap supplies, etc. The staff try but they are working against so many poor factors and a lack of direction.

I've chosen Cliffside Rehabilitation/Nursing Center for my mother. The staff is kind, helpful, patient, and willing to give information, so I'm very happy with that. The facility is clean, organized, bright, and cheery. They offer a place for the residents to congregate, like a place for the residents to get their hair done. They have different types of amenities, and I know they allow the residents to have Zoom calls or WhatsApp calls with their loved ones.

I was here for short term rehab after hip surgery. Was very pleased with the care I got. Jerry the therapist is really amazing. He made me work hard but knew my limits. I also LOVE the view. Overlooking a river with and airport on the other side. Even at my again, I enjoy watching airplanes landing and taking off. Also like watching boats, etc in the water. Staff is also very responsive. One thing that I didn't like is that we couldn't get unlimited amount of visitors. And we couldn't be taken out to visit family. But the truth is that I researched it and every facility has these or similar rules because of COVID. Thankfully Cliffside has really done an amazing job dealing with it and preventing me and the other residents from getting infected. Thank you Cliffside.

I have been here for quite some time (close to 8 years). While there have been some hiccups over the years (lost laundry, loud roommate, switching an aide that I liked, and other 'normal' issues) the staff always listened to my concerns and resolved it to the best of their ability. They all make you feel so comfortable. Even Janet in the business office who I haven't had to officially deal with in several years, always has a smile on her face and asks me how things are. And when I do tell her of problems, she makes sure that the message is passed on and fixed (or at least somebody from SW or administration come up to talk to me about it and then try to fix it). Most importantly, the care and rehab is excellent.

My father had recently been under the care of Cliffside for rehab from a tremendous set back due to sepsis/ history of stroke. Immediately the staff at Cliffside were amazing, caring and attentive to all of my dads needs. Especially Ms. Kahn, Ms. Persaud, and Ms. Lopez. Mary Sheehan the social worker was outstanding, she made sure dads therapy was started immediately, informed the family on all changes/ information, and was receptive to all of our needs. The rehab department, OT, PT, speech was also amazing, especially John(PT), Ms. Diamond (OT), and Ms. Alisha (Speech). My father made more improvement and was happier than when he first had his stroke. No matter what set backs, therapy always occurred and without a hitch. My dad looked forward to this and their encouraging words everyday. Even the administrators were wonderful, they really care about their patients and do help facilitate all aspects of their patients care. They truly are interested in what is best for the patient's well being and not just about filling up a bed. The nursing staff, nursing assistants, and all staff members were extremely friendly and helpful to dad's needs. I do believe this wonderful-extremely kind behavior aided in dads recovery and my family and I are truly thankful. This proves that it does not have to be the fanciest type of facility to see great changes occur. Sincerely, Nicole...

My farther was admitted to Cliffside a while ago, glad to say he is out now fully healed. I could not express my gratitude to the staff, the doctors, the admin department and the team in that site. Thanks to them my father fully recovered and is now like his old self. Initially he went in because he had surgery on his throat after being diagnosed with a specific type of cancer ...it was removed and he could not speak, not walk and bed bound for a long period of time. A few months later, after physical therapy, ot, and great nursing care my father recuperated and is now out. The vista is a bonus! A million thanks to cliffside !!

My father was admitted for rehabilitative services. From the very first moments of his arrival, the nurses were friendly, attentive and professional. The physical and occupational therapists were outstanding. They were positive, patient and kind. To my surprise, they had him walking a few steps just days after his arrival; something he was struggling with before and during his hospital stay. The activities staff were so encouraging and inviting. The social workers were a tremendous support to all of us. The dietician met with me and my father to go over his food preferences and choices were offered. Our extended family would visit at different times throughout the day and evening and positive comments were continuously reported back to me about the kind nurses and the cleanliness of my father and the place. My family and I will forever be grateful to the compassion and the attention given to our father. I should also report that my dad had once been in another facility for short term rehab services about 2 years ago. He did not return there and I did not feel compelled to write anything positive about that experience.

Cliffside Nursing Home is not a good place. It has roaches and other yucky insects. Nurses are sometimes assigned 40 patients to save money. Care is lacking because administration does not care about their patients. Don't do business with Cliffside or Woodcrest. They are dives.

I agree with other review. My mom is a patient there. Although the cliffside rehab website lists the many recreation activities and therapies offered my mom does not participate in any of those activities because she is an alzheimers patient and overall I'm really not impressed with the level of care she is receiving.

I visited this facility once because my boyfriend's grandpa is a resident here. They have a very small parking lot, but parking around this residential neighborhood seems okay. This facility has a small, elegant-looking lobby lounge, which looked promising. However, it does have a strange smell that is typical of many nursing homes. Most of the staff seem friendly, some more or less than others. According to my friend's grandfather, the staff does steals his candy, but his accusation may be false due to his age. He has also complained about the food, which does not seem to be ethnically appealing. There are many Asian residents in this facility, so one of the recreation activities provided is mahjong, which they seem to enjoy very much. However, unless the resident is alert enough to participate in activities, there is not much for them to do. Other than taking care of their physiological needs, it seems like the nurse aides usually leave the residents by themselves.
