We toured Kittay Senior Apartments. We didn't like that at all. The area was not good. That's independent living. They rent out the apartment. They have an alert button in the bathroom and the bedroom part. She showed us the studio. When we went to a studio, the person had probably moved out. There was still food in the cabinets and they looked dirty. Then when she showed this one-bedroom apartment, that one-bedroom was a disaster. She said they're going to paint and they're going to fix it up. We were not happy at all. There are no nurses on call. There are no doctors on call. The lady that gave us the tour spoke to us nicely. When you first get in, it looks shabby. She showed us the dining area. It didn't look that great. She showed us a media room which has a pulled up chair. They have one little space with two computers. One little space that supposedly is the library. I didn't like it at all. It was horrible.

I went to look at Kittay Senior Apartments. The whole layout was very nice. They have activities, meals, and what I needed for my disability. The room was kind of small because I have a queen bed, but it was doable. The dining area was very huge and really spacious. The staff was very informative and nice.

While the tour was great, I did not like the apartment I saw at Kittay Senior Apartments. There was no parking and I drove. I had to double park and they said that you get tickets for that. I wasn't that comfortable with it. The person who gave me the tour was very good. She was very knowledgeable and very patient. I don't know if the person that was in the apartment she showed me was neat or clean, but she had roach traps and a mouse trap so I knew I would never move there. The staff was very polite. In fact, one of the staff members said that he would keep an eye on my car so that I wouldn't get a ticket.

I toured Kittay Senior Apartments. It's very welcoming. The place was very clean. Everyone is very friendly and professional and offers other information if need be, and that's very expensive. It's a studio I saw, and it's appropriate for someone who can partially take care of themselves. They would just need breakfast, lunch, and dinner prepared, but outside of that, it's very nice, very clean, and homely. They have a games room, exercise room, movie room, and laundry services. They can do their own laundry. There's also an outdoor garden, which is very nice.

Kittay Senior Apartments was OK. Their rooms don't have a kitchen, so I didn't care too much for it. The staff was fine. The lady that gave me a tour was nice. The building was OK. The layout of the room was OK, but some of the rooms were small. I wasn't too keen on the place being small. They had a yard where you can walk around, and it was nice.

Kittay Senior Apartments is very nice and clean. The staff was very considerate. They didn't have single rooms, but they had studios. The studio that they showed me was pretty decently modern. They said they allow microwaves. They don't have a stove, but they allow you to have a hotplate. They didn't have a bath, but they had a shower that was adequate and a nice, decent bathroom. And the part that I thought was nice, whether you be a man or a woman, is that they have this big, long, almost walk-in closet, two double doors. So like if you have clothes, you would have more than adequate room. The other thing about it is that they said they require people to let someone do a little housekeeping. They will wash the sheets and linens as far as the bed is concerned. They don't do your personal laundry and that you could do. They have laundry downstairs and what-have-you. They showed me where you do your clothes, and they said it's $1.25 for the washer and dryer. They have many rooms for recreation. Also, they are pet-friendly. So I was looking forward to moving in. The location is okay. It's right across from the VA hospital. It's not super glamorous but it's very adequate and nice, and I would recommend it to anyone.

I toured Kittay Senior Apartments. It was nice. The people were nice, they had a kitchen, and it's a good community. It's good that it's close to my family who can support and help me. The staff was good. I saw their dining room. The facility was nice and clean. The light was good. It's quiet and peaceful. It's very nice outside and not too many people. The atmosphere was nice and friendly.

I went to Kittay Senior Apartments. It was very, very comfortable, and good. It was very diverse and very friendly. I liked everything about it except the price. I wish the price could be a little lower, but other than that I had no complaints. The cleanliness was very good. They showed me the laundry room, the garden, the eating facility, the exercise facility, the recreation and meeting lounge, and the TV sets. They were all very nice. I totally approve of their operations. The staff who gave the tour was very nice, very kind, very direct, and very informative.

Kittay Senior Apartments seemed nice, especially the rooms they have. It was really good. I thought it was great. I also liked the neighborhood. The apartments would depend on what you want. The difference is very minimal. They have a nice room. It's a full-size bed, and they have a nice little kitchen. The view is great. They have a little terrace and I was impressed with that. The lady there was very attentive. She spent most of her time talking to my mother. We just haven't heard back from them and that's a concern. They include three meals a day. They had a space in the back, but it was pretty cold that day when we went there so we didn't go out. However, they had a nice view of it from the room. We could see it.

The tour coordinator at Kittay Senior Apartments was very informative, a very pleasant person to talk to, very professional, and very knowledgeable. The physical facility was very well organized. But in our situation, it seemed a little bit limited in the fact that they only provided microwaves in the kitchen rather than a stove.

Kittay Senior Apartments was pleasing and I felt OK with it. It was well organized. The lady sat me down to explain to me what was possible, what was available, and how it worked. She was very informative. She took me on a tour of the 2 apartments available, one being the showroom and one was to give my mother a chance to test the place and to live there for 30 days. You just pay for 30 days and she gets a chance to see how she would feel about doing this. Some apartments had balconies, and some didn't. They could eat in their apartment, but they didn't have the amenities that would make it possible to, say, cook a turkey. They had a microwave and refrigerator. She showed me the dining room and the mailroom. This community seemed very cognitive of its residents. I would be comfortable leaving my mother there.

Kittay Senior Apartments was definitely within my budget. That was the main thing I liked about it. The facility was nicely kept. The room was nice. The back was well-manicured. It was nice and peaceful. They have meals three times a day, housekeeping once a week, and washers and dryers on even floors. It's clean. The staff were very nice. I met with Lilian and the security guard. Those are the only two people I've met and they're both nice.

Kittay Senior Apartments didn't have any one bedrooms. They all have studios, but it was a nice place. The apartment I looked at was furnished. The people were nice. The lady that gave the tour was nice, too. She explained everything to me. They clean up your room once a week. There's just no stove and I didn't get to see the back area.

Kittay Senior Apartments was not brand new, but it's clean. The rooms are big and they're private with your own microwave, your own refrigerator, and your own shower. There was a garden outside and barbecue. They had a library and a TV room that looked like a movie theater. There was a public oven that you can sign up to use. The fact that it's right next to a VA hospital is a plus. You have the option to take your meals there or prepare your own. I saw the menu and it's typical food. The staff that I met during the tour was very friendly and very helpful.

I will be moving into Kittay Senior Apartments. I love the apartments there. I was told that there's a doctor that would be in the facility, so that's great. They have free meals, and there are cooking facilities there, so that's great, too. There's no stove inside the apartment, but I understand why, so that's not a complaint. My kitchen could use a couple of more cabinets. There wasn't a refrigerator, but they said I will have access to a refrigerator before I move into the apartment. It's a nice apartment. They have a barber shop and a laundromat, so it's really good for a guy like me at this age in my life.

I toured Kittay Senior Apartments. It's close to where my dad lives. The staff are very pleasant and accommodating. However, I didn't get to see if there was a washing machine and a dryer on site for him to do his laundry and stuff like that. They have amenities. They have a gym and a kitchen so the person can cook if they want to. They have a courtyard, a dining room, and a game room if the person wants to go down and play bingo or something like that.

I'm a little bit familiar with Kittay House because my mother was a member there and I liked the place. They had the opportunity to go out and visit places. In-house, they had regular films, discussion groups, exercise groups, and things to help pass the time. They don't have to sit in the corner and stare at the wall. The price was a little bit stiff, but it's not totally undoable. I don't have a car, so public transportation is important, and that makes it really easy to get to Kittay. The facility was good.

We toured Kittay House 3 times. With them, it's not the same as with other places. It's very immaculate. The presentation was fantastic. The lady was like I knew her like family, very knowledgeable and kind. That's how nice it is. The room was very well put together and very cost effective. They have all the amenities. The lunchroom was beautiful. We had lunch there, it was very nice. They have a menu to choose from, but they can make something for you if you don't like the daily menu. The old folks looked alive and friendly. They nicely carry on a conversation. That is the best place I would think of, and I would highly recommend it.

the positive thing I found here was happy residents especially the one i was visiting. The neighborhood is not the best, the ambiance inside is rather institutional. The corridors reminded me of an old State Hospital. However all needs seemed to be being met . The dining room was again institutional and food for Jewish tastes The value seemed to be good when compared to other facilities
