Springpoint Living at Manalapan

My mother has moved into Springpoint Living at Manalapan. It's a brand-new facility. It's absolutely beautiful. The staff is totally amazing. They are wonderful. My mom seems to have adjusted very, very well. I give them ten stars. They're wonderful. For a facility, the food is good. Her room is absolutely beautiful. The bathrooms are all tiled. They're huge and all handicap accessible. It's absolutely gorgeous. They have a lot of fish and beef on the menu. The chef comes out and speaks to the residents themselves. It's a small dining area and you can watch the chefs while you're waiting for your meal. The place is really amazing.

My dad moved into Springpoint Living at Manalapan. It's a beautiful place. As soon as you walk in, you feel like it's your home. It's just very warm and cozy. It's only a year old, so everything's new and very pretty. The staff is very, very nice. They sent their bus over to pick up my dad because he was in a wheelchair. The salesperson went in the van, and she's just a very warm person. She talked to my dad and chatted with him, so he felt very comfortable. As soon as my dad walked in, he just loved it. The rooms are very spacious. It's an apartment, so they have a living room, a bedroom, and a little kitchen area where you could put a small table and two chairs. When my dad first got there, everyone who met him said, "Welcome home, Dennis." They took the extra step. They were wonderful with him and with his wife as well. They have a studio and a one-bedroom apartment. My dad got the one-bedroom apartment. They have three houses. It's ranch-style. They only have 70 people in the whole place, which makes it very personal. Everybody knows everybody, so it's very nice. They have a little dining room area, a gathering room, and a nurse's station. There's a bistro area where they have tables. You could gather with your family if you want. They have another large living room area that has a double-sided fireplace. They have couches and chairs set up so people can visit with family members if they wish. They have multiple outdoor areas that are very pretty, like garden-type things where you can sit outside if you'd like. They have a Catholic mass every Sunday and then a rosary on Friday afternoons. The food is delicious, and they're very accommodating. If you don't like the food, they'll make you something else. The only thing they don't have is a gym. My dad's been getting physical therapy, and it's wonderful. They do it in the room or the hallway. They're constantly doing stuff with them. They take them to places. They have little activities every hour, and they come around and see if you're interested. My dad seems very happy with that.
