"My mom has been in Memory Care at Kingsland Walk for over three years. The facility is well maintained and clean. We are thrilled with the Executive Director, who is organized. professional and easy talk with. She is good with employees and always smiling. The staff is wonderful ..from Maintenance to Housekeeping, Medicine and Caregiving. We adore the MC Director, Tanika, and all the Care, devotion and long hours she puts in caring for my mom and all the residents. She and her staff are the best we have had in all our tenure here and we feel extremely blessed that mom is safe, clean and cared for in every way. These wonderful people are like family to us."

"Friendship Village Sunset Hills was a beautiful place. They showed us two-bedroom with a den and one-bedroom with a den. The rooms were very nice. They have a person who will take you to your doctor's appointment, and they have a doctor who comes into the place. Housekeeping and linen laundry are also part of the package. The staff was very informative and really wanting people to come back for a private meeting."

"My mother moved into Sunrise of Des Peres a week ago. Our experience has been excellent, so far. They've been very personal, and they worked hard to get to know my mom and her interests and our family's expectations. They went out of their way to help us do all of the paperwork necessary to get her admitted. They've been excellent to work with. They have a lot of acreages. Her room has a large window that looks out onto a scenic backyard view. She has a large handicap-accessible bathroom. There was plenty of storage in her room for everything that she wanted to take. Her closet is a walk-in, so it's exceptionally large. On the first floor, it's very convenient to the dining room and the entrance. The common areas are everywhere. They have lots of small living areas for people to gather, so it makes a very homey atmosphere. "

"We went to look at Autumn View Gardens - St. Louis. My wife liked them better than the other ones. The staff was nice. I didn't see any trash laying around. I liked their garden. It looked like they had some nice places where you could sit outside and enjoy the weather."

"We picked Brookdale Creve Coeur for my father-in-law because it was friendly and clean, the room was nice, and the pricing was in his budget. They made us feel like this is going to be a good home for him. He is actually moving in on Saturday. The employees we met were all very friendly, very professional, and helpful. They had us come for a trial lunch, and the food was delicious. Everything is beautiful, and it's a very nice place. It's clean, well groomed, and well kept. They put in new carpeting and new flooring in the room for him, and everything is painted."

"My parents entered The Solana West County in July 2012. It is clean, food is good and care is great. After my mother passed they reevaluated my father and they informed us he did not need to be on the Alzheimer's side but he would fit in the Assisted living side. The care of both my parents has been excellent and the staff knows all their tenants by first name and talk to them all the time. As with any kind of facility there is going to be certain issues that you will not like. Mine is the communication. In the beginning I had a hard time getting anyone to call me back from any voice mail message I would leave. It seems to be getting better. Over all I am very pleased. "

They had an opening when we needed one and I found out that they were caring,met my aunt's needs, kept me posted and were very responsive until her last day. "In the last 12 months Town & Country Senior Living, has had: 2 Executive Directors, 4 Director of Wellness, High turnover of staff, Unable to get direct email for staff (had to go through main line), Poor communication between residents, staff, family and in house doctor, less than a year it has changed ownership again."

"Rooms are spacious for number of guests in room. Food is good. People care about you and a friendly."

"We looked at Friendship Village Chesterfield, it was wonderful, but just too expensive for us right now. The staff that we met were very nice, they're very good. They had lots to offer the residents. They had a swimming pool, they had a theater, an events room, an exercise room, a fitness center, and an arts center. We only saw a 1-bedroom at the time because they didn't have a 2-bedroom available, and there was a two-year wait for a 2-bedroom. So I thought that was kind of ridiculous. The 2-bedroom was a little tight, it's a bit on the small side. Their landscaping was very nice."

"I liked everything about The Lumiere of Chesterfield. They had a private chef who worked with the people who lived there to get on the menu what they preferred to eat according to their diet. A lot of these people are diabetics and when they go to another facility, they don't care what they eat, they just put garbage on the menu. This private chef makes a world of difference. They have high ceilings and big, spacious rooms. It's much more spacious than a lot of the facilities I've seen. It makes it feel much more luxurious and much more like home."

"We were very pleased with Autumn View Gardens - Ellisville. If it was assisted living that my aunt wanted that's where we would have gone. The staff was very informative, very friendly, and answered all of our questions. It was very clean, and I liked the view when we walked outside. I also remembered that it seemed spacious and welcoming. There was a group playing a game."

"It was the place I was trying to get my husband into. It was 5 minutes from my house, and I tried to get him there, but he was too sick for them. It's a beautiful place. We went and toured their memory care and it was very nice and very neat. It was a beautiful place on the inside and outside. The room was lovely and very, very nice. I only saw one and it had a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom, and a bedroom. The staff who assisted us was also very nice."

"Lake St. Charles Retirement Community was a really good community. The layout was nice. We really liked it. The staff was good and friendly, and they provide a lot of services. The rooms were clean and acceptable for what they have. The residents get two meals and they've got a pretty good selection. The dining area looked clean, open, and nice. They have quite a few things they can do."
