My brother is at St Elizabeth Hall. I feel that they're taking good care of him. They have a dedicated staff that's been there a long time. There are two beds in the room and a little divider between them. It's not an actual wall but like a partition. With regards to activities, I know they watch TV, but I don't know what other activities they have to keep them active. For the type of place it is, it's very good. It's the best we've seen. I like the staff. The building itself is kind of old but it's still fairly nice.

This facility is smaller in size, yet it has enough love for all to go around. The4 staqff is wonderful and the well light areas are clean and comfortable. This place is definatly a diamond in the rough. The residents appeared well cared for and the entire place was clean.

We visited St. Elizabeth Hall while in St. Louis recently, visiting assisted living facilities in the region. We immediately liked that St. Louis John Cochran VA Medical Center is only around 2 miles away, since our uncle has some heart issues. The grounds looked lovely and well tended. The foyer had a nice seating area - and we could see one of the main rooms from there. It was well decorated and looked comfortable. Our uncle is very sociable and has always enjoyed doing a variety of things. From the social interaction to the many organized activities available, we could see that he would be happy and well-occupied. He reads alot - so we like the book selection and the fact that regular trips are made to the local library to expand their collection. There are many outings and events during spring, summer and fall - from on-sight socials with the local church - to theater presentations in and around the community. For winter - there are plenty of indoor activities to choose from, including things like skating, playing sports at the local gymnasium - and cultural events for all who are interested. There are a number of wellness and fitness programs to encourage participation from residents. The staff has adequate support to successfully deliver access of all of these things to the residents. The rooms were decorated nicely -- as were the dining room and all of the communal grounds. We saw a variety of healthy, fresh foods available. Our uncle has always enjoyed eating well, so this is important to us. Overall, we really liked the facility and are considering it as a place for our uncle to live.
