I could not have done this move without the support of Barbara G. She has helped in every phase and has been a positive new person in my life. She listens and has compassion. I came here alone and afraid. Barbara has helped in more ways than a general office manager. She helped me to feel grounded and her office skills are spectacular.

I looked at Olde Oak Tree Apartments. The kitchen facilities were not adequate. I like to cook, and I like a full-sized kitchen, or at least a roomy kitchen, and what they have is just an efficiency set-up, which is just barely enough room to get anything done. It's just like a little aisle thing along the wall, and I barely would call it a kitchen. The rents are reasonable, but the apartments are very small, too. They're on the regular route for the community bus, so transportation is not as much of a problem. I really didn't look into the activities that much because when I saw the size of the apartment and how tiny that little kitchen was, I just lost interest and was ready to leave. The staff were friendly enough. They were not as outgoing as I would have liked, but I can't say that they weren't friendly.

I also visited Olde Oak Tree, and they were very nice. The staff put me on the waiting list, and she said sometimes the waiting list goes very fast and sometimes it doesn't. I liked the niceness of the people. When I walked in, there was a girl at the desk, and she helped me right away.
