I moved into Flourish Senior Living. I love the area. I also love that when you do need nursing care or assisted living type care, it's available for you there, and you don't have to move out of the apartment that you're living in. My apartment is so lovely. It's bright, sunny, peaceful, and quiet. There's a deck that overlooks downtown Minneapolis, and I'm on the fourth floor. I've been here for two days, and the staff members are nothing but amazing. They are so helpful and nice. They already call me by my name. They are just so friendly, and it just seems very homey. They have a chef onsite. The food is just amazing, very delicious, and very nicely prepared and served. I feel like I'm in a five-star hotel. They have exercise three times a week, and they have three different kinds. One of them is the YMCA, which comes in and does the exercise, plus they do yoga. They have a bus for activities. They go to the library and to different places to eat. They have Bible study and just about everything else. The first night I was here, I was able to take my big comforter and stick it in a commercial washing machine. They do not even charge for it. Plus, I have a washer and dryer in my apartment.

I liked the unit at Flourish Senior Living and I liked the people that I met there. They had the things that I was looking for. They have a physical therapist that comes in. I don't remember how often, but we can also use the equipment on our own. Then they have outings. The facility was extremely clean and it's not a big facility, so you don't have to walk for a long time to get anywhere. I've talked to other people (not the ones that primarily did the tours) and my son also has been there without me and he mentioned how nice everybody is. I'm looking forward to a good experience there.

I toured Flourish Senior Living. I liked the woman that took us around, and I liked the activities. There was a general feel that appealed to both me and my son. It was very welcoming. The staff who toured us was very thorough, and she answered any of our questions. She also teaches exercise classes. There was an informal vibe that I got visiting there that I want to live there. The rooms were very well-appointed. The layout was nice. Everything was set up so that you can get different services when you move from independent to assisted living, and that is really nice. It is the top selling point. The atmosphere was positive. They had various exercise classes. I passed a room that had about four ladies, and they were going to be doing some kind of activity. They have a happy hour, and I think you're allowed to drink each time they have it. It was a busy and happy place.

Flourish Senior Living looks like it's a relatively new place. I liked the apartment with the den. There was a washer and dryer in every unit. I'm still very much living on my own independently and I like the idea of not having to share my washer and dryer. The space was wonderful. It was beautiful. It was a good location for me. I found it very appealing. I liked that if I moved to the next level of care, I didn't have to change apartments. I would get to stay in the apartment I was in, and I appreciated that aspect. It was very nice. I would recommend them to anyone.

Our overall tour experience at Flourish Senior Living was fine. The woman who gave us the tour did a great job. The apartments were clean, but they were a little sterile. They were OK, but they were small. We then saw the cafeteria, the mail room, the gym, a little arts and crafts type of room, a gathering room for everybody, and a little library.

My mom will be moving to Flourish Senior Living. We chose it because the staff was amazing, everybody there was amazing. It was extremely clean, it's phenomenal, with a great gym, and every bedroom has washers and dryers in it. The kitchen has granite countertops, they have decks, they have a library, they have a full-size weight room and they have movies. Once a week, they set up outside at the back and they'd do movies around the lake area. They have three chefs, there's a huge kitchen area where everybody eats. There's also an onsite salon where they can get their hair done. It's just a beautiful facility and everybody was super nice. I fell in love with it, and I was there for an hour and a half. Everybody on the staff was nice, you could talk to everybody, and they walked me through everything step by step. The facility was brand new and beautiful, it was immaculate. They have full menus from asparagus, to salmon to everything, and they do Mexican and Italian, they make everything.

We're planning on moving my father into Flourish Senior Living. It was a very nice community, very clean, and it's a newer building. They are very friendly and helpful staff for sure. The location was primarily the reason for my father individually. He was very familiar with the location. It's very close to his current residence and the place where he used to work for many years, so he was very happy with the area. He's moving into the independent living facility. If he goes on assisted, he doesn't have to move location. They have a lot of activities from daily activities within the facility to outings a couple of times a week, and I think he will be heavily active with a lot of it. They have an exercise room and a speakeasy (it's a little pub gathering room with some games). They have a lot of options there.

I had an in-person tour of Flourish Senior Living. I love the place. They have beautiful people and great amenities. The facility is beautiful, fresh, clean, and very inviting. The staff members were informative, personable, and respectful. The residents were dying Easter eggs. They were laughing and having fun. The rooms were beautiful. They had a wonderful laundry facility and showers. The bathroom encompasses safety. They have a nurse on call there with an office in the facility.

Flourish Senior Living has a beautiful entryway. The building is new and it was built in 2020, so it's very nice to look at right when you enter. It's pretty. We toured a one-bedroom and a one-bedroom with a den and we liked both of them. The room is new and just very pretty. One downfall is there isn't wildlife for people to enjoy because normally the older people like wildlife. If you wanted to sit on your deck, you're either overlooking the parking lot or the Red Lobster next door. Having a Red Lobster next door would be awesome because when we went to visit, we could always go to Red Lobster for dinner, but that's the one downfall. Everything else we thought was very nice. They had a workout room, which was nice. They had a beauty salon, common rooms, a speakeasy room, and a big room where they would do crafts and watch TV together and all of that. It had a kitchen in it and we liked it. We wished mom would like it, too, but she doesn't want to live in a place like that. If it was for me, I would move in there. The gal that gave us the tour was very knowledgeable. She knew about the place. She showed us all the areas that we were interested in and brought us to the rooms we were interested in and didn't show us anything that wasn't on our list. She was helpful, very kind, and friendly. For independent living, you could get all three meals. Every tenant that lives there is required to pay an additional amount and that's to include a continental breakfast. One of the things I liked is that all the utilities, including cable and internet, were included. The actual amount for meals was very reasonable. If you wanted to just have dinner or you just wanted to have lunch or you wanted both, I was impressed at how reasonable it was.

Our tour of Flourish Senior Living went pretty well. I got pretty much all of the information that I could need to decide whether I can afford to live there, etc. Everything was good. I love the place. It's a great place and the people I met were just wonderful. I toured the independent living, although assisted living is mixed with the independent. They do not have a different floor or anything. They're just mixed right with you. It's a very friendly, very nice and clean place. It's very convenient if you drive to the grocery store. There's a shopping center just on the same road. It's pretty easy to get around. I only came in contact with the receptionist and the person who gave me the tour, and they're very friendly. I saw a unit without a bedroom and it was very nice sized and I liked it. The one-bedroom had a washer and dryer, and that too looked very comfortable. I did not see the larger one because that would be out of my price range. I saw their activity room, their community room, their exercise room, garage, underground garage, and storage spaces. I saw everything. The dining area was medium-sized. They have a room just off the dining room if you wish to use that for just having lunch with your family or whatever. They also have a room that you can rent to have a birthday party or whatever, which also has a kitchen. Everything in that room is used for some of their activities. From what I saw and the smiles on people's faces and the friendliness, I would rate it a 5. It looked clean and nice. I did not see anything out of the ordinary that struck me as not a good thing.

I liked Flourish Senior Living. It's where my mom would probably go if she will agree to go somewhere. I liked the atmosphere, I liked the size, and the people there seemed happy. She wouldn't have to leave her place. She would just go from independent to assisted depending on the help. She'll stay in the same apartment. The staff during the tour was very kind. She stayed late to meet with me because she saw the urgency I had. She's very accommodating. They had balconies. The rooms were very nice and updated. It's new. It's only 2 years old. They had a washer and dryer and a full kitchen. It's very nice.
