The apartments are bright and roomy, with a decent size closet and large bathroom with walk in shower. My Mom has found the food to be very good and she enjoys bingo. The staff is professional, kind, courteous and caring and mom has nothing but nice things to say, she feels right at home.

Grandhaven was very clean, the staff was very friendly, and the community was great. They were just very nice while I was touring the facility. The rooms were very nice sized, a little small for me, but it would be perfect for my aunt if we decided to move her in. It was very welcoming. They let me know that bingo is like an all-time favorite thing here and that the residents are very engaged and they like popcorn and things like that. I got to meet a few residents. I thought they were very friendly and happy. It was really nice to walk into an environment like that. They have a library. They showed me the book nooks in each area that they had and how they do family style dining for their residents. The food smelled so delightful. It made me hungry.

My wife and I are both here in Grandhaven. I don't have any issues. We've got a lot of activities and mostly musical programs which we enjoy. The staff is very good. We have three meals a day. The food is average. We take care of our own medications. We have a large patio. They furnish your apartment. They provide a refrigerator and a microwave.

Living at Grandhaven has been a wonderful experience. The activities are always engaging — from bingo and crafts to music nights and outings, there’s always something fun to do. The staff really puts effort into keeping us active and involved. The food is also excellent. Meals are tasty, well-balanced, and feel homemade. There’s good variety, and the kitchen is always open to suggestions. Overall, I feel well cared for and never bored. Grandhaven truly makes it feel like home. — A happy resident

Great facility, nice food and great staff. I love doing activities and moving around and seeing everythin. It’s a very relaxing atmosphere.

I visited the Grandhaven in Lansing. I walked through their memory care unit, and it appeared to be a nice facility. It seemed clean, and they don't have that many memory care patients in that area, which I think is nice. I like that it's smaller. It was at 5:30, so it was pretty quiet, and it appeared that the staff members were just doing their work. There wasn't much going on. They seemed very friendly, though. The cleanliness seemed good, too. I would say I would put my husband in there if I needed to.
