-Resident rooms are very nice-great natural light. -Community and support staff friendly and helpful. -Chef on staff that coordinates menu. -Unique activity offerings such as the very well attended Friday afternoon live music with appetizers/beverages. -Monthly community meetings held to discuss concerns, celebrations, and new developments. -A community room available to host family gatherings-has provided a comfortable space around holidays/birthdays to connect with out of town family without leaving Story Point.

The hospital gave us 48 hours to find a memory care for our mother. StoryPoint staff expedited the process and was excellent across the board. Facilities are clean, comfortable and very nice. Costs were competitive with others in the area, and we understood what we were getting. It's residential, not medical/personal care. Fortunately family members, outside medical/hospice were able to visit every day to provide any care we wanted that's not possible for a facility this size/staffing. That said, the staff went above and beyond for my mom, whose disease progressed quickly and she became bed-bound. The safe/friendly setting with 24-hour observation gave us peace of mind during a very difficult time. I'm grateful StoryPoint was available to us. We could not have taken such good care of her on our own.

Storypoint of Forrest Hills is a beautiful community and building. From the open and airy lobby to each hallway and each room, the colors are so soothing, and it is appointed very well. My mother has lived both in a two bedroom apartment and in a small efficiency in each one is lovely with bright windows and a terrific view of the outside also. Very importantly, the care is excellent, incredibly compassionate and very detailed. Each step member has taken a tremendous amount of time with my mother in conversation and in care of her. I highly recommend Storypoint to anyone who’s considering it for a family member.

My Mom is really enjoying living at StoryPoint Forest Hills. She has a nice, comfortable room with a pretty view, and enjoys the food and many activities a lot. But, the best thing is definitely the people. The management, the front desk, the food service, the care technicians, as well as the people who clean and fix things - everyone is so capable and very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Mom feels like this is home and we are so grateful knowing she is taken care of so well.

StoryPoint Forest Hills was really nice. The villas were not attached. It was just within the parking lot. The staff said if they come over for a meal, they would hop in their car because of the weather and stuff like that, especially during the wintertime. We had a really nice tour. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The only thing that would lower my score is the distance from us, but that's not because of them. Also, the cost is a little higher than what my parents can afford. They had a hair salon right there. Those are some things that my parents would eventually come to use, but probably not right away. The villas were off-site, but not very far, just across the parking lot. They were absolutely beautiful. They have a two-bedroom-two-bathroom and a walk-in closet attached to the main bathroom, and a laundry area. So, that was really nice. Their dining area was nice. I wouldn't say it was formal, but it was kind of a community feeling, and good for socialization.
