Clark on Keller Lake was a beautiful place. They had integrated activities and integrated care, and it was very impressive. The grounds and the building itself were beautiful. There was nothing lacking about that place. It was well maintained, very beautiful, and welcoming.

I consider Clark on Keller Lake the best assisted living facility in the Grand Rapids area. I have family and friends in other facilities. Nothing matches Clark. We visited several other places when looking for a home for our mother. We chose Clark on Keller Lake. The setting is beautiful. But the staff is the best thing about Clark. They took care of my mother like she was their mother. The facility is not overly large - maybe 35 -40 residents in a building. The staff gets to know residents personally so it becomes more like a family. The have regular activities and celebrations. It is a fun place to be. We were always confident she was well looked after. Mom developed wonderful relationships with the staff and other residents. They made her care and well being a personal goal, not a job. The care could not have been better. Since my mom passed, I return to visit Clark as our whole family developed such strong relationships with the staff.

My Grandpa was housed at Clark on the Lake. It was a very nice facility, but unfortunately I did not feel comfortable with the staff. I did not get a very comforting feeling when I was at the facility and I had to check multiple times to make sure that things got done (like my Grandpa getting a haircut). Like I said above, the facility was very nice. On the ground floor they had a ice cream shop and a barber shop that residents would like to hang out in. They both had a very old-timey feel to them and it was very cool. Clark on the Lake is a DECENT assisted living facility. The building and amenities are 5 star quality, but the staff drag my rating down to a 3/5.
