This place is HORRIBLE!! Never send anyone here. The management is the worst. No communication. The staff Doctor is terrible too. Never returns calls. Unless you are there everyday with your loved ones, you have no idea what is going on. Some of the staff try but they can't keep up with all the work and others sit around. The rooms smell like urine and feces.

Kris-Leigh Assisted Living At Gambrills seemed very nice and that facility I liked. The residents seemed very active and they seemed to have a busy social life and interaction among the residents. The rooms were adequate. They seemed to have a lot of activities.

Please do NOT take any of your family members to this location. The carpets are dirty & stained, the furniture is stained, worn & smells of urine. The residents have nothing to do put sit & watch TV all day. The staff is not properly trained to handle Alzheimer's/Dementia patients. They are short staffed most of the time. Some of the staff have been known to be on their cell phones with personal calls when they should be with the residents. There are a couple residents that need help with eating and they don't always get that help. Some of the staff doesn't have the patients with some of the residents that need a bit more attention. It's bad when you have to hire someone outside of the company to help take care of the resident that is living there. The food is terrible. There is a deck outback but the residents are not allowed to use it. Please if you really love & care about the person you have in this place or are wanting to take there, please think again.

Kris Leigh assisted living in gambrills is a terrible place to put your loved ones. This entire company should not have a license to assist elderly people! This company does not care about the well being of their residents or employees! All locations have bed bugs, black mold, at times the residents go without heat and air conditioning. The furniture the residents and family members sit on everyday smell like urine . The employees show the residents no respect, the managers avoid complaints and concerns addressed by residents, family members , even their own caregivers! They are almost everyday under staffed. The staff that do stay with the company are terribly over worked! The food that is served here are high in sodium and processed! I have witnessed residents being ignored when asked for help. I also see caregivers upset about how managers talk to them and schedule them several double shifts in a row. I never see members of management walking around and talking to residents making sure they are getting what they need. Often times I have heard managers telling staff to tell resident and family members they are not available to speak with! I have overheard conversations that managers have their favorite employees and do not acknowledge the caregivers that do work hard and go above and beyond of what is expected of them . This place needs to be shut down or they need new owners and managers! Our loved ones should be treated with the best care and respect! This facility does not offer respect to their residents as well as the caregivers that are hired and are way underpaid for the work they do! Please do not send your loved ones here to live!
