Over a century old building. No elevator. Very humid inside building all year round. Food brought up by dumbwaiter system. Most GNA'S are unprofessional, retaliate and discriminate against if you voice a grievance GNAs don't work as a team and exceptional GNAs get overworked and unsupported by leadership. Leadership lacks integrity, stability and effective communication. They prefer to admit residents with illnesses that won't challenge their status quo of providing you or your loved one with the bare minimum service. They don't provide hair care services for black women and I had to teach the GNAs who were willing to wash, condition, detangle, brush up in a bun because they had never touched textured hair, needless to say don't stay here for long term care if you have locks, braids, afro hair to be cared for. Physical therapy is located in the adjacent building for short term care residents. Long term care residents must be taken to physical therapy room by wheelchair to use stationary equipment. This facility has a long way to go with customer service, professionalism, diversity training, respecting residents rights and dignity. Positive and enthusiastic people are ran off by the negative influencers.

My mother was a resident at Vindobona for almost 8 months this past year. She passed away in November, 2021. I and my family were so very pleased with the care she received while there. When she was in the process of passing away, we received such kind and loving treatment from all the staff. This made our situation so much better. From the receptionist, to the nursing staff, and all other staff members, we were so thankful for their kind and loving attitude toward us and our loved one. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone with an elderly family member who no longer can take care of themselves. A million thanks to everyone at Vindobona who provided the best care possible to my mother and to my family. This is a most loving and caring place.

The staff is great, very helpful and attentive. The setting is very nice also. I would recommend this facility. My mother was here for about 2 months for hip rehab. I can't speak for long term care, however we were very pleased.
