My dad moved to April Bloom Assisted Living. I chose it because the staff was very attentive. Over the past two and a half years, he's been in two facilities, but this one is where he's happiest. He enjoys it there. The staff was phenomenal. The activities are very good, and I'm satisfied with this place. In the place where he was last time, he wouldn't drink water. He didn't like the food. My father was 180 pounds. He's 6 feet 3 inches and in good shape physically, and between over two months this year, he lost 20 pounds. He wasn't eating the food. When I came in, my dad was voluntarily drinking water. The thing about that was, that they put a little bit of lemon in and give it a little bit of taste. He's eating very well, three meals, and they're pretty hefty meals that they give him because he's a big, tall guy. The food is excellent there, and the value is affordable for us. We got everything we wanted.
