I chose Bon Secours Liberty Village because the rent is cheaper and it's more senior-oriented, with bathrooms equipped with bars and things like that. They have elevators, and everything is really convenient. I can get around independently. Parking is right there. The bathrooms are handicap accessible. Everything is just compact. I don't have a lot of space, and I don't need a whole lot of it. The staff was really helpful with me when it came to handling the paperwork and things like that. You have to cook your own food. They have a lot of activities on a daily basis. They have a big dining room and a large kitchen, and I love to cook. You have your own kitchen upstairs in your room, but if you want to have a gathering with family, you can have them come over, and I liked that.

We went to look at Bon Secours Liberty Village. The facility looked good. They have different activities or things to do. They play Whirlpool. They play games and watch TV. The lady who was showing us around was pretty nice and patient. She assisted us very well. They have meals on wheels.
