Bridgepointe Gardens

I toured the assisted living section of Bridgepointe Gardens in Jeffersonville, and I have chosen it for myself. I thought they had the most to offer for the best price. I like how you're not squished into a small room. You have a bedroom, a large bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room. Many of the rooms in other places are not very large, and I can't imagine living in one room for the rest of my life. They also accept dogs, so I like that about the place. You can keep your dogs there all the time. You have to take care of them, of course, but you wouldn't bring them there if you wouldn't take care of them, in the first place. They have lots of things to do. They have a gym and chair yoga twice a week, I think, and I like that. I haven't tasted the food, but it looks good.

I liked that Bridgepointe Gardens was new. They had a movie theater, and I saw a lot more amenities. I know they had a beauty salon, and you could go outside. That's another one of the ones I'm thinking of going to. The staff was friendly and answered my question. It was clean and nice. The rooms were very nice. I liked the one-bedroom. They had a nice big clothes closet.

My mom moved into Bridgepointe Gardens. She likes it. It's a newer facility. It just seemed more up-to-date. Her room is very nice. The staff seemed very friendly. She likes the food.

I like that Bridgepointe Gardens has a smaller memory care, so the staff is able to look after individual people and that makes better quality care. My brother-in-law moved in there and it's a beautiful place. It's very soothing. It's crisp, clean, and homey looking. There's an outside patio that is enclosed that residents can go to and a large walking area inside. It's not cramped. The hallways are big enough. I'm very pleased with the staff. The food is good, too.
