Very welcoming, they have several activities to choose from- exercise, cards, dominoes and Bible Studies etc. The apartments are small, but seem just right for one person. No lawn care or snow removal or even light bulb changing in high ceiling areas. Secure entry on the Apt. building.Very safe neighborhood. The apt. Is Surrounded by little townhomes if you prefer a more private house like atmosphere with a garage. In short the perfect place to retire."

"My mother-in-law moved to Providence Homes Plus and we chose it for her, because of its small size. We felt that it would be a better place for her. It is a converted home, so it has a nice and homey atmosphere. She is in the memory care and they have been very good at updating us and keeping us informed. They play cards and other games with the residents. They have them do holiday craft-type activities, too."

"We really liked the little apartments that they showed us at Topeka Presbyterian Manor. The rooms are nice-sized and they have quite a bit of closet space, which is important. They have pretty close to a hundred people living there. They have a pond there and they have the building fixed up so they don't get the noise from the traffic on I-70. They have a covered parking place designed for each person living there. They have quite a large dining area. It's also more reasonable than some of the places we've gone to."

"I was very impressed with Brookside. The thing that I like was that it was very open. The rooms were fine; what I like about it was very open, and they had a very nice open sunny area, but they didn’t think he would be a match, so my husband didn’t go there. "

"Wyndham Place was a newer facility. It was very clean and the apartments were very nice. The staff was nice. She gave us a lot of information. She made a point to show us their main activity room and I think they did a lot of things there. They also got a good outdoor walking path and also, extra storage facilities. We saw a group of ladies during our visit and they were just laughing and telling stories. They were very friendly. My mom liked it because they seemed like really nice people. "

"My mother used to be a resident at the Lawrence Presbyterian Manor. I just liked it because I trust the people. They take you on bus rides to places. I liked the staff."

"My 95 year-old father moved to Arbor Court in February of 2020. I cannot say enough good things about the facility, staff, and community. My father was very demanding and after a period of adjustment, aided by the staff and community, adapted to his new home. Because of the pandemic, many social activities had to be halted or greatly altered, but the staff did all that they could to offer what could be done to encourage social interactions. My father liked the food, especially the breakfasts and desserts. As my father declined, I was able to layer health services which allowed him to live somewhat independently until his passing"
