"I will be moving into The Madison Senior Living. It's very nice, very new, clean, and the food is great. Everybody I saw there were saying that it's a very nice place. They're very helpful. The meal we had during the tour was very good food. The rooms are fine, and based on my tour I'm happy with them."

"I picked Mission Chateau because it was very clean and very new. I didn't notice any odors or anything like that. It's also very close to my home. My mom moved in last month. They're doing the best they can in the circumstances that we are in right now. They've had a lot of turnover, and I think they're a relatively young facility. I just think that they need some additional training on how to treat people with memory care. I think the food is really good. They keep her very busy. They're in a Covid lockdown because they've had an outbreak. Prior to this outbreak, she was very busy. She doesn't have Covid, so she could leave her room; however, all activities have been canceled because of the Covid outbreak."

"Brookdale Wornall Place was very clean, they had very nice staff, we met several of the residents there, they were very lively, and seemed to be very happy. The facilities were excellent, they had a swimming pool, an indoor pool, a hot tub, an exercise room, and they had lots of activities. However, it seemed to be more expensive than the others."

"I like the way Armour Oaks is set up and I liked the people. They have field trips for the residents and an exercise room. They also have different kinds of groups that meet. I saw 1- and 2-bedrooms which are adequate in size. If you're in independent living, it's new, and if you're in assisted living, it's an older building built in the '20s, but it's clean. They should continue to upgrade the older building. They do some assistance and they keep up with the residents. In independent, if you're not showing up for meals, they check up on you. The staff was very informative and very friendly. They also have a bus transportation service that's included."

"I liked the cleanliness, space, friendliness of the employees and how they set up their community. The staff was very knowledgeable about their residents and what they offer. They gave me a little bag of cookies from their kitchen. In the independent living facility, they had a stove and refrigerator. In the assisted living facility, they had a mini-fridge. They do have outdoor spaces and a patio area for games and seating."

"I went and toured White Oaks at the Groves Senior Living Community. The tour was good. The only thing is, they showed me apartments that were not ready, so I didn't really like that because I didn't get a full picture. These were apartments that were still being renovated or rehabbed where people had moved out. The staff was very nice. The facility itself was nice. I would say the living atmosphere was good. They offered a lot to the residents. If you stayed there, they had game nights and pool tables. They had a lot of activities that a person could enjoy."

"One thing I liked about The Princeton Senior Living was the room. I thought they were very well done. They had granite countertops for the kitchen counters and nice living spaces. They made it look like more of an apartment instead of just a room. I enjoyed that. I thought it was adequate as far as the number of bedrooms and there's a computer area for you. The dining area was adequate. It was modern and restaurant-style. They have a little grab-and-go bistro area where they can grab things and take it back to their room at any time of the day. I liked that a lot. The staff we met was very nice and very informative. They provided the residents with a number of meals during the day included in the package that I thought was fantastic, too. They have plenty of options to choose from their menu."

"The facility is first class! And capably run in a professional, friendly way. There is always a nice choice of meals to have - and chef prepared. The rooms are very nice, and the whole place is wonderfully maintained. Staff interaction is always very pleasant, and I know our 95-year old Dad loves it there. Can't say enough about the Lark! Except: 5 STARS!"

"Everything at Our Lady of Mercy Country Home was wonderful. I would pick it if my parents could afford it. It's very open, very friendly, and very updated. The staff was very knowledgeable and very empathetic. They had several activities going on while we were there and it looked like they encouraged the residents to get involved."

"We liked it because we know some friends there, and the location is also convenient for us. The staff was very friendly, informative, and they answered all of our questions. The buildings were beautiful, modern, clean, and convenient. There were also no stairs, we don't have to worry about falling, and there's plenty of open spaces. We tried their food too."

"I toured The Gardens at Creekside. I liked the cleanliness. They took me on a tour of the place. It's spacious and a nice size. They're very nicely built. I love them. There's a refrigerator and kitchen things. There's a little stove and things like a washer and dryer. It's very nice. The staff was very kind and very informative. She's great. I appreciate it, she's good."

"Aberdeen Village was a nice facility. The lady that talked with us was very nice. They had a beautiful dining room and a great coffee bar/breakfast area. The living areas were pretty old and kind of out of style. Otherwise, it was great. The apartments were big and roomy. There's the living room, the kitchen, the dining room, the bedroom, and the washer and dryer for you. They had a very nice common dining room and a swimming pool that you have access to all the time."

"This is a very well run community. We took a tour with Jennifer and she was amazing. Spoke on the phone with Emily and she made us feel welcome even over the phone. We toured all the amenities and they are first class. Everything was very clean, the complex was very inviting, and it had a very pleasant smell. We crossed paths with several residents and everyone we encountered was extremely friendly. We were very impressed with Jennifer, she knew every residents name and she just has a gentle caring spirit. We immediately filled out paperwork and got on the waitlist. We know this is the place we want to spend our later years and we are hopeful that we get a call ASAP. We are ready to move in now. We Love this place, we will be calling this “Home” We would have rated a 10 but it only goes to 5."
