My parents are living in Celebration Villa of Hearthstone West. I think it's average. It's a simple place, but it's decent. They have three different levels that you can be at. My parents are in the studio. It's accommodating. It's small, but it's still enough room for them to do their living in it and stuff like that. But then they have one and two bedrooms also. I gave different things about what they can and cannot do for my mom and the things that I'm needing them to do. It's a struggle sometimes to get it done, and I think that's based on the change right now, the changing over to the new management group. The majority are good staff. There are a few that we have struggles with in getting the help that we need. They have quite a bit of different activities. They do bingo. They have arts and crafts. They have singers and musicians come in. They have game nights and movie nights. So they have quite a different range of activities that allow the residents to choose what they like to do and participate in. The food smells good during dinner times, but I've not eaten there. My parents don't normally complain. And they do ask periodically throughout the times that they've been there, what they'd like to see on the menu. So they do get the residents' input.

I liked Celebration Villa of Hearthstone West. I liked where it was. It was just awfully small, I couldn't get my furniture in there. I thought it was a nice community and my tour went very well. It had everything that I was looking for except the size of the apartment. The dining area was very nice. The staff during the tour was very helpful. They offered to make a few changes that I wanted and if the rooms were a little larger, I would not have hesitated.

Celebration Villa of Hearthstone West looked fine. I looked at the menu and I saw the activities calendar. I looked at a studio room and the cafeteria. The director was the one who gave me the tour. He'd been there seven years. He asked me a lot of questions. They had a courtyard and a library area. It's certainly a good place to go.

I've here about a year but am disappointed, The one-bedroom I selected based on price and accessibility needed some work done - especially the huge black water? stain and other carpet issues. They assured me that the carpet would be replaced before I moved in. It was not replaced, and the large black stain (from a broken water pipe) was still there. Once I complained, they did shampoo the area 2x which just made the carpet look really dirty. I'm still trying to get it replaced - when I moved in, it looked like nothing had been touched and the place had been vacant a long time. The balcony was filthy, everything inside needed dusting. Staff are awesome and will go out of their way to do something extra for you. Food is a little boring and repetitive and no special diets exist. It's basically at least one or both entries being chicken. Vegetables all overcooked. Fresh fruit is very good. Most residents LOVE the soups (most, I'm guessing are high in sodium so I skip it). They use canned gravy, frozen meatballs and hotdogs all made of a variety of meats instead of all beef like you would expect. Most deserts are very good but look preprepared or from mixes. The chef appears to try to add new things but I think most residents prefer classic dishes that are well prepared. But how many times a month can you stand to eat ham and beans? They also offer food from the grill (like hamburgers) if you don't like the entries so they are very flexible. You also have a full small kitchen where you can cook. Maintenance staff seem to be overworked. I've submitted over a dozen "tickets" for work needed and not one has been addressed in the last year. Some I've just done myself since it was safety related. 1st yr here and they increased everybody's rent 15% If they do that again I can't afford to live here without dipping into my savings should I need skilled nursing someday. Ambivalent about moving or continuing to fight for repairs and rent adjustment. LOTS of activities, including upper and lower body exercises. crafts. bingo and musical groups weekly. Movie night. I'm younger than the average resident so most of the activities don't appeal to me but there is a HIGH participation rate so most seem to enjoy them. The residents are friendly and in their 80's but still independent, Sports are very popular on the central area large screen. (I don't care for sports). The free wi-fi is isn't strong enough to stream a movie and free cable is just a few channels so be prepared to purchase other things like Netflix, etc. If the price hadn't risen so high I would have rated this place higher. Oh and the name change is just weird. I don't know what we are celebrating and there are no Villas.

I want my friend to go here. It's a wonderful place. The community director was extremely professional, helpful, and very understanding. When you walk in the front door it feels very relaxing and welcoming. I talked to several people that live there and they were just very friendly and the activities that they have planned for them were wonderful. They gave me a calendar of everything that they were doing in October, and it was very diverse. There's got to be something there for everybody. They have a salon, and they have bus transportation to some of their activities. They had community rooms and things for people to do in them, like an arts and crafts room, and reading areas. They had all kinds of stuff. I felt really welcome when I went there.

I went here last year. The rooms were beautiful. There was enough space and it had almost a complete kitchen so that you could do things in your room. They were just well done. They have exercise classes and activities. They also have other levels of care. They were all very friendly. I ate there and the food was very good. They have a chef and you can have choices, so that's good. They allow pets, too.

I liked the fact that people were active and having fun moving about. The marketing director was relaxed, comfortable, friendly, answered my questions, and offered me a cup of coffee. The place was very nice, too. There's a kitchen, washer and dryer down the hall, and meals are provided, but I can cook too if I want to. There is a large balcony out there, which was one of the selling points for me. It was bigger than average, and I could have friends out there.

It was a very nice facility. They've got a lot of different activity options for seniors. The dining room was really nice; it was restaurant-style. The outdoor areas were also really nice. It seems like they have everything that we were going to need. All of the staff have been very helpful, have had no issues with them. Everything was in pretty good shape. Some of the things in the apartment we haven't been really pleased about, but they are helping us with them. It's a 15-year-old -- or might be older than that -- facility, so you're going to have a little wear and tear.

The room that I saw was a studio. It had an apartment-sized refrigerator, not one of those tiny dorm-sized refrigerators. There were lots of closet space and storage, which were better than the other places we toured. The room size and everything else were comparable to others. You didn't smell the kitchen, unlike the previous place where my mother has been, you walk in and there were old people smell or smell of what they're cooking in the kitchen. Here, you wouldn't smell anything. It was more like a regular apartment and they just had new carpets fit in, so it was very nice.

It is a very nice place. It seems like it would be a peaceful place where a person's time would not be wasted. They offer something to do every day. It's a very nice place to visit. The staff member was good. She answered every question we had. I was considering them, but I have decided to stay where I'm at.

It is a very nice place, and they serve excellent food now. They provide a lot of opportunities for activities like exercises. The place is pretty clean, and housekeeping is doing a very nice job. The staff has been great and they are doing very well.

The grounds were nice. The memory care was secured so people couldn't get out on their own. It had a garden area off to the side, a restaurant within the area, and a workout room, so it was pretty self-contained. My parents were able to get a two-bedroom. They can use the other room as a dining room, so the layout is pretty nice.

It was top notch. We had a good meal. They have a very good, big facility. It’s just not memory care; they have different units of care. I thought the rooms were excellent and huge. They had everything, and I was really impressed.

It is very nice, clean and very friendly. The apartment is just a one room with a bathroom and lots of covered space plus a kitchen. It’s very easy and accessible for wheelchairs. They have a nice variety of food and lots of different things to choose from. It’s very good and mother enjoys it. She has been there for five months. They have arts and crafts, different special nights or weekend nights, they do different activities, outings and bingo.

My parents live in here. They are helpful at the most part. It is a relatively new facility, so it is pretty modern. They have a studio apartment, and I will not actually call it big. They do have several activities scheduled throughout the day. They have bingo and dominoes. They have wine and cheese on Thursday afternoon. The food is very good. Actually, several members of the family come over and comment thay it is very good too. Their dining area is kind of a restaurant approach. If you have someone who qualifies well for assisted living, it will be fine.

It is a wonderful community and they do a really good job for the residents. The rooms are good as well as the food. I only go down for breakfast so I am not really familiar with the activities, but I know they do a bunch of stuff. The facility is very good all in all.

It is okay but it is not a continuing care facility. The staff who toured us was okay. We saw a room which was acceptable. We ate lunch there and it was okay. It was a restaurant style dining facility.

People I know had been there. I just heard good things about it. I visited it last year, too. I just thought it was the best place.
