"I chose it for my mom because it had very nice grounds and she likes nature, so she had some space to walk around. I liked the quietness and peacefulness. The dining hall and the food were both good. The residents seemed to be in good shape. The staff were nice and helpful although I thought she would get more support but I ended up getting her a companion to be with her. The place was nice for someone who was more independent than my mom. "

"We moved my aunt into Atria Golden Creek. The location is convenient to my home. The intake people were very helpful, friendly, kind and caring. They have provided safety and a welcoming community for her. She has a beautiful balcony and a view. The facility is clean. The staff members that are around are friendly to help her. Everybody is willing to help. She likes the food. She goes on walks, but that is the only thing that she has taken advantage of there. She is looking forward to meeting other people for garden club, flower arranging, movies and quilting."

"Park Terrace is a wonderful independent/assisted living community in Rancho Santa Margarita. The staff is friendly and helpful. Everyone wants each new senior to feel welcome and to participate in the community events planned to help them have a full life. I especially like how they work to accommodate each senior's special needs as they need more services. Families new to any community need to expect it to take 1 - 3 months for their family members to become part of the community. Our mother participated in very little at first and with gentle nudging by the staff at the community, she started making friends and is very active and happy. "

"This is a beautiful place! My mom loves it and really enjoys living here. The staff is absolutely amazing, they go above and beyond for their residents. They genuinely care, they are loving and make you feel welcome. They always have a smile on their face. They do a wonderful job on socializing the residents, they have events and activities for them. The residents look super happy! The food is delicious. The rooms are very spacious. The facility is very clean and has been remodeled. I highly recommend this place for anyone that is searching for senior living."

"The Fountains at Sea Bluffs was beautiful. The person who gave us a tour was very nice, very informative, and spent a lot of time with me. I was just off the cuff and made the phone call and they were able to accommodate me immediately. The dining room was also beautiful. The food looked nice and smelled great because I was there when they were doing a big snack thing and it was nice."

"I thought the moving my dad in was going to be hard just because its a new environment but my dad adapted very well and that was because the staff welcomed him with open arms as if they had already met him before. I've gone everyday since then to visit him and he just seems so happy being there. I'm glad i made this move where not only is my dad happy but i'm happy and comfortable with him being there."

"It was very pleasant, neat and clean. There were three people during the visit and they were all very handy and very helpful. The dining area was very pleasant. They had all kinds of activities like Bingo and arts and crafts, and they had an exercise area."

"Park Plaza is my second choice. I interacted more with the personnel there than at the other places I've toured. The landscaping and everything were very well-kept. They have a library, and a beauty salon and they have an area set up almost like a movie theater with seats and a big screen TV. It was very nice. There were three floors, they showed me around the first floor, which is where my mother would be. That was assisted living with a higher level of assistance and that's what we need. She showed me the dining room and the menu looks very good. They've had the same chef for quite a few years."

"We toured The Meridian at Anaheim Hills. It was a pretty large place. They had a lot of nice community things, including an event and a very nice banquet hall where people were able to eat out. The people were very happy."

"I was impressed with Walnut Village. It's sheer perfection. I would've been very happy going there, but it just wasn't time for me to go into that kind of a facility. The person during the tour was charming, very knowledgeable, and very pleasant. He made it sound like it would be wonderful. The dining area was like going to a very fancy restaurant. It was really a nice place. They also have a little coffee shop. I saw one woman working out in the gym with a trainer. Everybody was so pleasant and so happy. It's a lovely place."

"Corona RCFE was very nice, and the people were very friendly. The grounds were good. The room is perfect for my mother who is 92. She just needs a room with a little bed, a chair, and a TV. That's all she needs. It looks like she can go out and go to the dining room area, and things like that, and they have those things available too. The staff who helped me was very friendly and answered all the questions. She was very good. I didn't sample the food, but the dining area was fine. For activities, they have a little room where people can go and they can meet with each other and play games and so on, so that's fine."

"Rowntree Gardens meets the needs that we are looking for my dad. The staff understands what entails to care for a memory care resident. My dad is in a shared room. It is adequate, and it meets his needs. He likes the food. They have activities like music and arts & crafts. Their communication skills stand out. "
