Autumn Leaves of Orland Park

I liked that Autumn Leaves of Orland Park is close and convenient. It looked pretty nice. There are some original papers to sign before entry, but there is an opening, and we're looking forward to it. Mom is going to be in a double room. It's not only for her but her husband as well. Both are going into their memory care. They will have a two-bedroom apartment. One side will be used for a living room area, and the other side for the bedroom. It has a washroom in there and it's very convenient. They'll be watched every half an hour, 24 hours a day. They got meals and amenities. We can bring in things like a fridge, but nothing that heats. No microwaves, but any time of the day or night, you can visit there. You just press a button. If it's 2 in the morning and you need to come and see your loved ones, so be it. They are available. Kelly is very convenient and intelligent in regard to the grounds and showing us everything available. She's very well-spoken. She gave us a good view of the place and we were happy with her. We checked the dining area and it was very nice. I like the idea of coming and sitting in there, making you feel like you are going out somewhere to eat. Other people were sitting in other chairs. They have a posting of all the foods that are available to them and it's very convenient for them, too.

My husband is here. It's a smaller community, so there are not that many residents, maybe 25. It's clean. The staff are friendly. They are knowledgeable. The food is pretty good. They are taking care of them. They take care of a different array of different types of dementia at different stages. So far, it's pretty good.
