"I have had a caregiver through the Emily Agency for several months now and so far I am very pleased with their services. I am my mother's primary caregiver, however, work full-time during the day, so I needed someone I can trust to take care of my mother. I feel that this agency has caregivers you can trust to not only do the job, but provide a sense of companionship for my mom. I am very particular about who cares for my mom and expressed that to Harriet from the agency and I feel that she took my needs/concerns as well as my mom's into consideration when assigning caregivers for my mom. My mom has dementia and is very forgetful so the caregiver is great at reminding my mom when to take her medication, help prepare and serve meals, and assists with toileting needs. Thus far, this agency is reliable and I would recommend their services to others in need of elderly care. "

"My mom moved in with me after suffering a severe stroke and no longer being able to live independently. Interim Home Health Care was recommended to me by a social worker assigned to helping us with the transition. The day after my mom moved in, a social worker from Interim Home Health Care, March, was sent to my home. March was great. I'd already been introduced to many social workers and had lots of services recommended to me. However, March was different. March took it upon herself to contact these services for us and gave recommendations that saved us a lot of money. She knows what resources are out there and she will do anything to help you get them. Interim Home Health Care also provided a Physical Therapist and a nurse for my mom. The nurse assigned to us was Mary Catherine and she too was wonderful! She is very knowledgeable on nutrition and her caring, patient personality was one we looked forward to. The Physical Therapist, Howard, was also wonderful. When my mom arrived to my home, she was not able to walk or even stand on her own. Howard's patience and expertise got my mom's legs strong enough to stand, walk with a cane, and even go up stairs! He got her to a point that made our situation easier and safer. We love Interim Home Health care and would recommend them to anyone. "

"When we were looking around for an assisted living for my grandmother after we found out that she had alzheimer's, we took a look at Little Mary's. We really liked, as did my grandmother. The staff were friendly and happily answered our questions. My grandmother really like the people since the really made her feel like family. The unfortunate part was that they are still rather small and while my grandmother was willing to live at home with a care provider, since their home base was so nearby, the lack of the medical facilities she might need caused us to look elsewhere. The staff was friendly and competent though, and if the conditions had been different, my grandmother would have happily worked with them. "

"We used Compassion Home Care of Illinois for my mom post hip replacement surgery. Compassion Home Care of Illinois replaced a company that could not provide reliable care coverage, and they really stepped up to the plate! I called them the day before a holiday weekend, in the evening, and at 11AM the next morning we had replacement care givers. We had the same two care givers the entire time we used their service, and they could not have been nicer or more caring. They put the other agency to shame with the amount of work they did with and for mom in the short time they were there – they never slowed down! I can highly recommend Compassion Home Care of Illinois for anyone needing live-in care. We will definitely reach out to them again if we need more assistance. "

"The name of the home care is Larlin Health Care. It's probably been going on for maybe two years now. The caregiver is very good and tolerant. She does care a lot, and my mother-in-law likes her. "Having ReliaCare Home Health coming to me again for the fourth time in 4 years, I decided it was time to write a review. I was assigned ReliaCare when I came out of a rehab center in March 2011 - my first experience with home health. I had a nurse, PT and OT. All three were very skilled and supportive. They worked around my schedule of frequent doctor visits just as I understood that, in turn, I needed to be a little flexible for them as they juggled their schedule of service. It worked fine. In mid 2011, only the nurse was still coming because of a wound that wouldn't heal. It was so disheartening, but not only did Donna take care of the wound as instructed by doctors, she helped me keep positive and also made her own suggestions beyond what the doctors and wound clinic were doing. I will always believe that the final antibiotic which was suggested by the results of blood work Donna recommended is what finally healed the wound. I have needed home health care three additional times, and have always requested ReliaCare and Donna. I am sure the other ReliaCare nurses are equally competent and compassionate, just as all the PTs have been. But sometimes it helps ease the stress to have someone who you already know and trust, and ReliaCare is very good at working to accommodate their patients. I highly recommend them for you or your loved one. "

"There was a nurse that came in from Parker Cromwell once a week and a therapist twice a week. The therapy was really good. My mother had a lot of improvement. We used them for about a year; the last time was about two years ago. "

"We have been using Care One for the past three years. They are very flexible. They do as you requested them to do. They do send people in who are qualified and are nice. We have a person who comes in three days of the week to clean their home and do some other stuff. They do light housekeeping like washing dishes or making up the beds. "

"The caregiver that I have from Wellspring Healthcare is wonderful. I have no complaints at all, and I wish she could be here longer, but it is all we can afford. The agency could use some work in their overall service, but I have no complaints about my caregiver. There were times when my caregiver couldn't come one day or another, and I asked them to please send someone else and they couldn't find anybody. There were days when it was just me and my husband and nobody here to take care of us. "
