Arden Courts of Geneva is a wonderful location! My mother was here. It's a difficult decision for anyone to make to put your loved one in a Memory Care Facility, or any facility. Our family knew it was the best decision. I looked at several locations and Arden Courts of Geneva checked all the boxes for our family. Location, facility, compassionate and caring staff! Our family had to find a facility during COVID and they took very good care of my mother and ensured her safety during the pandemic. We were able to visit with during this difficult time and my mother was happy and enjoyed the events, and the staff. I cannot say enough about the staff and how they understood my mother’s needs and the kindness they showed her and our family. I could call at any time of the day or night and see how my mother was and each time they checked on her and or let me talk to her! I am sorry to say my mother is no longer with us, but I am glad that they was a place like Arden Courts of Geneva for her and it gave me such a peace of mind! Thank you

My dad has been there for 2 1/2 years now and absolutely loves it. The place has been recently remodeled and looks like a hotel. I love how there’s all different kinds of themes in the hallway like a library, a beach theme, etc. there’s four different sections with brightly colored doors so the residents can remember where their room is. The courtyard is absolutely beautiful with bird houses in beautiful flowers and walking paths. The staff is absolutely amazing and from day one has made me feel super comfortable and has made my dad feel like a part of the family there. The outings are super fun for the residents and for the families to attend. The arts and crafts and super fun themed parties are always so neat. When my dad first arrived there he was in terrible condition but because Arden Courts Geneva has such amazing doctors and skilled nurses my dad has now gotten his life back. I am so grateful for everyone at Arden Courts of Geneva. The caregivers alone are so friendly and so sweet to my dad. They always look out for him especially when he gets ill. I can’t say enough of good things about this place. I highly recommend Arden Courts Geneva to any of your family members that need special care. They definitely give me a peace of mind knowing that my dad is in good hands.

I liked Arden Courts of Geneva. It had a lot of positives, but it was really expensive. The tour was good. There were four wings, and they're kind of color-coded, so it makes it a little easier for the residents to have a more intimate experience. Their resident-to-nursing staff ratio was really good. It seemed like their programming was among the best of the ones I saw. The director was very knowledgeable and nice. I think they work pretty hard to get people involved in the activities they have daily. They don't leave people just sitting in their rooms. We were looking for a studio, so I was kind of focused on that, so I know they have good studios. I saw the menus and they all looked good.

My husband has moved into Arden Courts of Geneva. They are memory focused. It is colorful. It's like going to camp for senior citizens. The help is well-trained and treats each patient as a member of the family instead of just a number. They make it as homelike as they possibly can for their population. Everybody knows everybody by first name, which is a wonderful thing. If you're not there for dinner, they come and find you. I love the colorfulness and the homelike atmosphere, far better than any of the others that I saw. The staff is very personable. They know me and my husband and the children that come to visit him. They treat all of the other people I have met there the same way. They do miniature golfing right in the rec room. They watch movies, play trivia games, do bingo, and walk around. They get more personal care than many of the other places that I was at. When you add in all the additional fees from the other places, they are equal value for money. One of the worst places that we visited, by the time you added in everything, it was more money than what I'm paying for a much nicer place.

My mom's room had ants every year she was there and it was never cleaned well. The caregivers do NOT have to be CNAs at Arden Courts so some are unprofessional and untrained. They do have a great activity program and the head of activities is very kind and compassionate and treats all the residents as equals. The past director just retired and she did a very good job at trying to keep the facility top quality. I would not send my loved one there with a brand new young director with no experience and with not having certified CNAs to take care of my loved one. They were understaffed and we had to move my mother due to the fact that they were not staffed to be able to move a resident who was immobile and the rooms and washrooms are too small to invest in a Hoyer lift. We had to move my mom on short notice due to this fact. I would look elsewhere.

Arden is not a fancy place but someone told me when I was looking that all the fancy stuff was to impress me and that the residents didn't care. They were right, the most important thing is the care they receive and Arden is excellent at that. Everyone there treated my wife like she was their Grandmother. I couldn't be more pleased with my decision to keep her there.
